Question about Acer 4220-2346 Notebook
It's possible that the button board is bad, I'd recommend removing it and pressing the button direct to see if that's the cause. Based on what I saw online, I'd say you could probably just apply some light force with a FLAT screwdriver and remove it.
There could be two screws holding it down, but from I see in THESE picture it looks like it just snaps onto the laptop.
