I can explain that. You enter the power level you want from 0 to high(10) the number corresponds to a percentage of time the cook cycle is ON. 5 being 50%, for each minute of cook time programmed the magnatron will be on 30 seconds and off 30 seconds. You can program anything from 10% to 90% in place of the high or "always on" setting. Eric

I am assuming the case from the microwave has been removed.
Ensure the capacitor is discharged!
Remove the connections from the rear of the magnetron and remember which way around they go, a photo on a phone camera is very usefull!
Undo the fixing screws and remove the magnetron from the cavity. Replacement is the reverse procedure.
