I have a dell xps m1530 and i keep getting a message saying that the NTLDR is missing to press any key to restart but when i press a key it just repeats the same message is there anyway to fix this?

This can happen if you have a non-system disc in your CD tray and attempt to boot up the computer. If there is a disc in your CD tray try removing that and see if it works. If that does not work you should go into your BIOS (often your computer will give you a key to press when booting up). Go into boot priority (you may need to look around a little) and make sure that your hard drive is the primary boot device, and not the CD or DVD drive.
I hope this helps!

Display problems with dell xps m1530 laptop

These models have known video card problems, so first thing connect an external monitor before booting - boot and see if the image on the external monitor stays on, if it's fine on the external monitor then the LCD panel might be defective, otherwise if you see blurred / distorted image on the external display it's the VGA card. which means you should contact warranty (if you still have) because the mainboard needs servicing / replacement.

Problem with display in DELL XPS M1530

Your video driver crashed. Have you installed a video game or Fusion tv tuner recently. deinstal and reload your video driver. holding down the F8 key while booting go into control mode (which doesn't load drivers) delete app, then load drivers from your CD.
