We have a Whirlpool Gold Quiet Partner GU980SCGZ0 model. When rinse cycle is over the water only trickles out when draining. We checked the drain and it is not plugged. Water remains sitting in bottom of...


I took the check valve assembly off the bottom of the pump assembly and there was a big chunk of string balled up in the line which created a plug against the screen when trying to drain.Works great now!

Whirlpool Gold refrigerator water leaking


If it's flooding, it's NOT the drain pan. It's probably the water valve has gotten stuck in the open position. Hope this helps!

The new garbage disposer comes with a plastic cap in the drain port. Disassemble the drain pipe assembly and remove the cap/plug.

you have a frozen or blocked defrost drain behind the back panel with the vents in it remove the panel and clear the drain at the bottom in the silver pan
