quick question for you , what do you mean by minute repeater function ?

  • dabbs60 Oct 29, 2010

hello, making good progress with the campanola minute repeater, but have a question regarding what i believe is step 12 in the manual. in regards to syncronizing the seconds hand on the sub watch with the main watch, it says to press a button upon "hearing the time signal" ??? i have the mode hand on "0" like its suppposed to be, but i dont ever hear any "time signal". also, i am having a problem cancelling an alarm on alarm-2. thanks!

In order to set the repeater chime you need to set the watch and the sub watch to the same time.

This watch has comes with crown in position 0 , if you pull it out one level it becomes position 1 and if you pull it out one more time it is position 2 .

There are 3 buttons on the watch also. The button directly above the crown is button A the button below the crown is button B and the button directly across the crown is button C.

To set time you must first pull out crown to position 2 when the small second hand is at 12 o'clock position and it is stopped.

The mode will also at this time go to 0 and the sub watch second hand( the long second hand with the sun on it ) will also go to 0.

At this time you can just move the crown to set the proper time to the main watch . Now if you press the B button to set the sub watch . Each time you press the B button it will advance one minute hold down the B button and will advance time faster.

Do this to set the sub watch time make sure you watch the am and pm to make sure you are getting the proper time of day.

if the sub watch second hand ( the long second hand) is not aligned to 12 oclock then press the A button keep pressing button or hold it down to go faster until it is aligned at the 12 oclock position

Now push crown in back to 0 position for your time for your watch and sub watch should be set.

Set leap year.
Pull crown to position 1
Press the B button to adjust leap year.
the leap year is set by how many years from the previous leap year it has been . So 2008 was the previous leap year so we will h ave to set leap year at year 2 . The hands of the leap year are connected to the month so you must hold down a and b button or just press the b button to get to year 2 .

once you do that your leap year should be set.

to set the Repeater ( this is a beep from the watch to tell you the time with sound) make sure crown is in 0 position and hold a button for a couple of seconds to activate Reapter.

you can press any other button to end the chime .

also to get to leap year view while crown is in 0 position hold down the b button for 2 seconds . Pushes any button to return to normal calendar.

  • dabbs60 Oct 19, 2010

i am new to this site so pardon me if i am asking something not allowed, but can i ask what state you are in? i am in michigan. did you have any idea how few people have any knowledge of this watch and it's functions? i will be attempting to follow your instructions for my customer in the next couple weeks, if i have other questions for you do i just comment back on this message? thank you SO much, now i understand why they say "grand complications"!

  • Jimmy Accardi Oct 19, 2010

Im in Georgia but the best thing to do is a place a new question on the site . you can always say something on this log and I will know you posted a new question .

  • dabbs60 Oct 20, 2010

could you be so kind as to explain how to set the alarm also? your instuctions look alot easier to read than the manual! and also please tell me can i set the minute repeater to only chime on the hour? thank you!

  • Jimmy Accardi Oct 21, 2010

there is a couple of alarms on the watch what alarm do you want , set or set daily ?

also I think you misunderstand what a repeater is . The repeater cannot be changed. The repeater is a function of a watch that will chime the time at a push of a button. So if it is 845 it will chime with high and low chime noises the time. This is really an old fashion function that people use to have in the old days when watches didnt have illumination features and lets say wanted to know what time it was on a dark night and you could not see the time on your watch, you would press the repeater to hear what time it is .

let me know about the alarm function

Where can I obtain 23mm spring pins for Luminox 6402?

Many replacement watch bands come with a set of replacement spring bars. In addition, just about any place that change watch bands for customers--whether it's a jewelry store, a watch battery & band kiosk in a shopping mall, or possibly even a department store jewelry counter--also carries an assortment of spare spring bars for those times when the person changing the band drops or breaks a spring bar. These are inexpensive components, and you should not be charged much (if anything) for a replacement spring bar if you bring your watch to one of these places.

In the jewelry supply and wholesale trade, spring bars are sold in bulk, either in one size or as part of a larger assortment. I buy my spring bars in increments of 100. I have never seen a way to buy a single spring bar (or pair of spring bars) except from a retail operation.

I have a kenneth cole new york kc3216 just had a battery installed in it at wallmart got home noticed minute hand had moved by itself bumped the watch it moved again what should i do

It's been 2 yrs. I hope you got this solved. If not, it's probably a bad battery or inept install. Some batteries sit on the shelf for a while and aren't rotated. In other cases the installer can innocently and unintentionally bend a battery contact. Rendering the watch useless. Take it back or to a jewelry store. A jewelry store usually has the tools and equipment to fix a messed up contact or at least they'll have a battery tester to determine the battery's charge. Usually a minimal charge like 4-8 bucks.

How do i remove a link from the watch band?

hi friend,
step 1
Measure the watch band's length. Every wrist size is different, and there's no need to remove all of the links when you may only need to remove one or two. Putting the watch around your wrist and pinching each link around it to see how much room you need gives the jewelry wearer a reasonable estimate.
  • Step 258782_65x95_aspect.jpg Open the watch near the link you want to remove. Link watches have several openings, so even if you open the wrong clasp, it can always be reattached.
  • Step 358783_65x95_aspect.jpg Flick the tip of your fingernail inside the clasp to open the extra links. Continue doing so until you have removed all of the links that are too big for your wrist. If you have short fingernails, try using tweezers or anything with a sharp edge that can easily unfasten a link. New watches tend to be very stiff, so it may take a little nudging, but the links come off. It will be obvious which ones come off and which ones don't by looking at the back of the watch band. The links that come off have a claw on the tip of each one and sometimes have the brand name on top of it.
  • Step 458784_65x95_aspect.jpg Put the extra links in a safe place. There may come a time that you either let someone else borrow the watch or your wrist swells and you need these links again.
  • jQuery('.article ol .image').each(function(i,e){ var $this = jQuery(this); $this.find('img').error(function(){ jQuery(this).remove(); $this.remove(); }); }); Tips & Warnings
    • If you can't get the links to open, visit a jewelry repair store. Workers there may be willing to help you adjust your watch for free. If you bought the watch from a retail store, the jewelry counter is usually required to adjust your watch for no additional cost.
    hope this helps u

    thank u for using fixya

HAVE A WATCH WHERE I JUST NEED A REPLACEMENT PIN SENT TO ME. HARD TO READ THE NUMBERS ON THE BACK OF THE WATCH BUT IT LOOKS LIKE MODEL ZR77044, 120509. TRIED KOHL'S BUT NO LUCK.

You will not need the model info to get a new pin; you pretty much just need the millimeter length as this is how they are sold. Usually you cant just buy one, you have to order a whole lot.
Your best bet for a replacement pin is to go to a jewelry store. Not a chain store or mall store or department store. Most independant jewelry stores should have. We give them out and install them for free everyday; you may need to pay 5 dollars or so elsewhere. If you are a mall shopper then you might luck out with a watch battery/ repair kiosk.
