Check to see if theres a lock on the pictures or a lock on the memory card.

by lock i mean a stub that prevent writing to it.

can you save pictures? if so then you might have a lock on the picture that cant be erased.

I Have taken pictures with the camera , after it saves it keeps telling me photo error , im trying to recovery images i have taken , and they are unable to view and when i copy them to my pc , windows says...

Your pictures may be corrupted. You can recover those corrupted pictures with this
1. Do not save any new pictures into the memory card of your camera.
2. Insert the memory card into a card reader. Connect it with computer. You should see memory card shown as a drive letter (like H:) in My Computer.
3. Download recovery software, recommended one is Tenorshare Data Recovery (simply because i was using it and it worked)
http://www.any-data-recovery.com/product/datarecoverystandard.htm
4. Install and open the program, select your memory drive, and click 'Start' button to start scanning process which will find your deleted photos.

I have a Samsung Digital PL201 camera and I am unable to delete multiple pictures which means I have to go theough 500 photos and delete them individually... there must be a way of deleting the whole lot? ...

Hello,
To delete all the contents off the camera / media card you will need to navigate to the format option in the camera menu. Press menu then settings then format. NOTE this will delete EVERYTHING off the card.
To upload video files to your computer try taking the card out of the camera and connect it to your computers card reader (or buy one if you need) and open up the removable drive in my computer, copy the files you need onto the PC hard drive from the removable drive. You could also use the Intelli-studio software that came with the camera to transfer video files.

Fuji S1500 unable to delete photos after taking them. Unable to see photos back. I delete photos on my loptop and then they appear again.

Deleting or formatting on the computer instead of the camera corrupts the card. The camera does not recognize the operating system used to delete. Stop using the computer to do that!

I cleaned my sony camera and ipod with an antivirus. Now i am unable to view the dcim or music folders but i can run my stored songs or photos. I m unable to load the photos onto my pc. please help me

Your virus software might have deleted a driver file in the camera, because it thought it was a virus? Try doing a system restore to the camera and see if it works. //David

Accidentally deleted pictures off of camera [NOT memory card]

You can try to recover your pictures with this photo recovery software:

It uses unique modern algorithms to recover files that other software either recovers incorrectly or is unable to detect.

Problem with deleting photo from memory card

If the image has not been "Protected" to prevent erasure it sounds like it has become corrupted on the card. Suggest you save all images you wish to keep to your computer then Format the card (Erases ALL images) in your Camera. Hope this solves the problem.

DELETING PHOTOS

Hi, In your camera's menu/set-up, there is a function to "Format". This will format the memory and effectively delete all its contents. Alternately, since the digicam will be recognized by the PC as an external Removable Mass Storage/Device, displaying the contents is identical to opening a folder. Ctrl + A is to select all contents of the digicam's memory "Del" is to delete. Hope this be of some help/idea. Post back how things turned up or should you need additional information. good luck and kind regards.
