Question about Cameras
It might be one of two situations I can think of. First of all, you're right, it could be an incompatability issue between the dvr and the camera. You can try the camera on another dvr to see if it connects with another brand. The other problems could be a software glitch, hanging up the connectivity. In this case, the software would have to be rewritten, but since there aren't many complaints about this on the net, I'm doubtful this is the issue, and lean toword the incompatability issue.
I would contact the manufacturer and see if they have any information about incompatability issues, or a suggestion to get your dvr to work.
