The rod at the back of the oven is the Thermostat probe. As long as you can re-attach the holder in the same place it's broken off, it wont cause any problem. It's simply a holder but needs to be in the right place so that the thermostat is in the right place in relation to the oven element.

You best bet is to weld the holder back on if possible. Otherwise you're going to have to find some glue rated for very high temperatures.

Please rate this solution if you find it helpful. Thanks.

I mistakenly mentioned an element but i was forgetting you have a gas oven. This doesn't change anything - your thermostat still needs to be reattached in the original position so that it's the correct part of the oven in relation to the gas burners.

Belling oven xou60mf not switiching on

Sometimes I had it where the lamp holder in the oven has a short and then welds the contact on the function switch. If you replace the complete lamp and holder and function switch for the oven. 3 time last year on bellings this happened. To try disconnect the two wire on the lamp holder then if it doesn't trip you no that's it make sure you turn the oven off and don't touch the wires together when u turn back on.

Shelf fitting slot broken off

Use the link http://www.neff-eshop.com/eshop/neff/gb/prodlg.htm?x=0&y=0&Maktx=Neff+U1721&eshoptype=Aenter the FULL enr from the rating plate, don't just pick the nearest one if the enr is U1721N0GB/75 that's the model you need to check as parts from one model to another can vary. This will open a diagramatic breakdown of the oven and you can search for the relevant part (and buy if online direct from Neff). Couple of things to remember, make sure you have the right oven (ie top or bottom) and whether it is the front or rear holder as one is like a keyhole and the other is a keyhole on its side.As this is a build under unit, it does make changing the part a little easier (depending on which one is broken, hoping for your sake that it's not the back top oven one..Argggh!!) You will need to get the oven out and I find it easier if it's on it's side with the faulty holder at the top. The side panel needs to come off (or at least be loose if it's a front holder) as the holders are held in place by a retaining clip behind the cavity wall, or if it is a screw in type, the screws comes in from behind the cavity wall. I suggest you order and get the parts first and this will give you an idea what you're dealing with. Let me know how you go and post any comments or problems you have whilst doing the repair (anything I've forgot to add) as this will help anyone else looking for a solution to a similar problem.Ps. If you are sensitive to fibreglass, wear a pair of gloves.

How to change oven lamps on Stoves 600EF oven

Well if it is the same as the 720, you will find a small recess in the leading edge of the glass lens/cover. Using a blunt screwdriver, insert it in the slot and twist it. The lens should gradually come away from the side of the oven. DO NOT attempt to do this if the oven has been in use as the lenses will become too hot to handle. Put a cloth on the bottom of the oven to catch the lens as it falls to protect it. Note that there may be a cut out on the inside of the lens to go over the edge of the bulb/bulb holder, so don't try to put the lense back round the wrong way.

F2 appears on the front panel and there is a fan that is running and won't turn off. What should I do?

F2 Oven too hot Check oven temperature sensor
The problem is either with the sensor or the wire between the sensor and the control panel.

The sensor is the metal rod that is inside your oven, it comes in on the back wall and is a little smaller than a pencil

KEMC308 Microwave oven door

Had the same problem and bought the part online. It's not difficult to replace, simply hold the door by the handle as you loosen the 2 screws. Put the face of the door on the floor and remove 2 screws holding the plastic insert. You will have to remove the front vent panel (2 Screws) just below the microwave door. Then you might have to move the oven vent over to get to the final 2 screws on the bottom of the plastic panel. Once you have the palstic panel off the springs are exposed, simply look at how it is placed in the holder before you remove the damaged one. Replace and then re-assemle the door.

MY OVENS FAN KEEPS BLOWING AND I CANT DO ANYTHING ON IT PLUS IT KEEPS SHOWING F3

This code is usually an oven sensor that is telling the control that the oven is too hot, This is why the fan stays on. Try replacing oven sensor. This is the steel rod on inside oven in back wall at top left or right. Even though you can usually unscrew from front, it often won't come out far enough to unplug it from harness. If it does, be sure you get plug back through both walls of oven, or it will melt. Use end of small screwdriver stuck in the connector to guide through back wall. If doesn't come out you mist pull oven out if wall and access from rear.
