I suggest you reset the Belkin back to the default by -
Power up the router and press and hold the pinhole RESET button at the back of the router for 7 secs.
Make sure the router is connected to the computer with a LAN cable, open a browser and enter the router's configuration URL
The default password = blank (just press enter)
