Question about Fisher Paykel Eco IWL16

1 Answer

Fisher paykel intuitive eco

I found gallons of soapy water in my basement this weekend from my 3 year old intuitive eco. Once the drips slowed down, I was able to spin the load and it went down the dry drain pipe without any problem. I'm trying to get the cover off to check the hoses but there aren't any removable panels. Does anyone know how to get access to the bottom so I can see what's leaking?

Your pressure value switch is malfunction. First thing you can try that is cheap to fix is to try clean the hose that connects to the outer tub. A lot of times there is algae develops after years of washing.

Fisher and Paykel intuitive eco - I have too many suds -tried all

This may sound silly but have you checked your washing powder? Here in Australia (not sure where you are) most detergent manufactures are concentrating their powdered detergents but haven't made much fuss on the packaging - just giving you smaller scoops.
I hope for your sake it is something as simple as that.

Fisher Paykel Intuitive Eco Washer is squealing

You need to pull out the washer, TURN OFF THE WATER, then take the water hoses off the back of the washer. Check the screens inside the water inlets for debris. If that doesn't fix the problem you may need to ask fisher paykel if it's safe to put a chemical like limeaway in those holes to remove hard water deposits that have built up inside the valves.
