MP3 player help

That little led is a battery 's warning,when green the battery is fully charged,when yellow or orange the battery is half way or so and tells you to charge it pretty soon,once the led goes red then the screen becomes black because no much power.
when you charge the Mp3 the display stays on at all the time,it is not an issue or a problem. Hope i understood what you want to know and if you still need help ,please explain it better in the reply!

Reformat the player. also - doublecheck RCA's support website - they are pretty good there

From what you are describing it sounds like you have a broken LCD screen. In most cases screens are repairable, but they are not generally covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. You might try contacting the manufacturer (RCA) at the phone number or web address listed in the User’s Manual and they may be able to give you a general idea of how much such a repair would cost and the procedure to follow for service. Alternatively you may be able to obtain repair services through a local electronics retailer, such as Best Buy™.

The monitor convergance adjustment is out . Is it a LCD or CRT

Check the battery to see if it has the original capacity if not you may need to rejuvenate it. Also try to open the unit and reattach the LCD. Good Luck.

Try open it up and reconec the LCD otherwise replace it. But software before hardware, reinstall the software and update it. Good Luck
