I need help with the color there is no red or green went thru the manual and the sample colors are ok, went back to regular program and colors are terrible,

check you cables like a VGA monitor you have three colors Red Green Blue on the cable and if one is broken then the color will not come in correct. on your device that feeds video to the tv try some different cables and inputs it might be a bad cable

Hello, The VGA cable broke. it was cut off and now it's lost. I can put back a VGA connector however I need a wiring diagram so I can know what color goes to which pin. Can you help? Thanks.

Not knowing which monitor that you have I will have to be a bit general. If the cable disconnects from the back of the monitor then you can simply replace the cable with another vga cable. If the cable does not disconnect then my best advice is to look at the other end of the cable and get the pin out from the controller board on that end. Unfortunately that procedure would require opening up the monitors case.

The above link will also help as a reference. However keep in mind that some of the colors may not match. Which is why you would need to check the other end of the cable to be sure. Good luck.

All VGA connectors use the same pinout. Here's a link that shows you the VGA Pinout,

Rabbit eats video cable....

That is a dificult task to find a new one, unless you have a broken one you want to take apart they are not a standard cable. Your best bet is to go to an electronics store and buy a new plug to solder onto what is left ofthe cable. To find the pinout, just use a digital multimeter and test the continuity of the pin to the color of wire on the other end. Then just find yourself a VGA extension cable.
