The other day I was trying to print an account from a bank. I deleted the page I thought, but my printer continues to show the item as being deleted, but meanwhile the printer is not printing anything and...


For that you need to uninstall old printer driver and all usb drivers.
First make sure your usb cable working fine.
Try it in different usb ports.
if still same then uninstall usb driver from device manager.
Right click on my computer icon then click on property then hardware->device manager.
Then you can see all driver list then uninstall usb drivers 1 by 1 then it install all usb drivers automatic.
Then go to control panel->add remove programs uninstall printer driver.
Then reinstall printer driver from disk or download driver from internet.Then install..

Cant get it to hook up without the cd, any suggestions


Hi, well the installation software, printer drivers and scanning software can be downloaded from the company's website most of the time. Instructions on how to do it should be there also. Hope this helps

Hi,

Go to HP.com and look under the Home & Home Office tab. Select Printers & All-in-ones. Up at the top there is a "Search for" window. Type in 1315. On the next screen to the right there will be a Product Quick Links box. The last option in that box is software and drivers.

You should be able to download the software that you need from this screen.

Scanner problem


Have you installed the Installation programs off the disk that came with the unit? Just plugging the unit into the computer may generate GENERIC drivers for the printer but nothing else.

Put the disk that came with the unit into the Disk Ddrive and run the Installation Program. This will install both the Drivers and the Interface Programs for your unit.

If you have installed the Drivers from the disk and it still won't work, try this:

RIGHT click on My Computer - select Properties - then select Device Manager. Any problems will be displayed by having a Yellow exclamation mark alongside the item. RIGHT click the item with the exclamation mark and select Update Driver (have your disks ready). This will install the correct drivers for your unit.

If all of this fails, contact the retailer and get them to check it out (I assume it is still on warranty).

Try selecting the image you want to print by holding the left mouse button down and moving it over the text once you have done that goto file print select the correct printer half way down you should have page, pages, or selection choose selection and then print.
