Blown Capacitor C2250 on the main Power supply. Little blue capacitor.

it isnt a fuse, if your fuse was blown, it wouldnt even turn on, even for a second, it is your Y-SUS board, you can order one through there website, i think

SOURCE: Picture but no sound Samsung 42 inch

Did you completly reset the cable box. Similar thing happened to me. When I pushed the TV remote the volume went up and down but no sound. I pulled the power from the cable box, waited 30 seconds and repowered cable box. Sound came back on.

Hope that helps.

How do I keep my tv from stop cutting off

When you have a bad power supply in the TV, it could be it will switch of when it becomes to hot, or when a threshold in voltage or current exceeds. Perhaps only one or a few electrolytic capacitors are dying. I would start saving up for repairs or for a new TV.

My 42 inch sylvania plasma tv does not have a coax connection, so how do i hook up my cable to the audio/video connection? i know there is an rf converter to transfer audio/video to coax but i really...

Since your TV only has audio and video input jacks, you can connect those to audio and video output jacks on the VCR. Now connect the coax cable to the RF/ant input on the VCR and you'll have to change channels by using the VCR channel selector.
Let me know if you require further assistance.

I cannot get close cation on the sylvania 42 plasma TV. I have gone through the menu to set it up but it.But I cannot get close caption to work

Most likely it is in the cable box settings accessed through the cable remote, not the tv settings which are set up through the tv remote.

Sleep Timer on remote does not work

First try to access the sleep timer menu from the controls on the TV to verify the TV is working.

If that works then the remote has the problem.
Now try this;
Step 1- Pull the batteries out of the remote and leave them out until Step 4.
Step 2- Press and release each and every button one at a time on the remote control until every button has been pressed and released at least once!
Step 3- If your remote has slide switches, you must move the switch to each position then repeat the button pushing in Step 2.
(When you're done, be sure to put the slide switch in the correct position to operate the unit the remote came with!)
Step 4- Put the batteries back into the remote, being very careful to install them correctly.
New batteries should be used if you're not sure about the old ones.
If this does not work, then you may need a new remote unit.
