If your TV is having a goo sound and picture using DVD player, the it means there is nothing wrong with the TV, the problem should be from, the receiver (decoder) or the device connected to the TV.

It might simply be a bad wire or fault from the video board.

Try using another wire to connect the device that is not having picture on the TV.

Good luck.

Hi, What is the procedure[using remote]to go between TV signal and DVD signal on a Konka model KL22ES62Q TV set cheers John.

Your TV does not appear to be with in inbuilt DVD.
So you must use
(1) TV remote to select input as DVD
(2) Operate your DVD using the DVD remote for eject, play, FF or rw etc.

If you have a universal remote and the codes for the brand of TV and DVD are programmed, you can control using one remote.

Hi, I have a Konka TV hooked up to a DVD player, and the decode.they were both running fine until I hit the wrong button on the remote, now I can`t get a picture on the TV at all John

You've probably changed the input port by accident. Look for the "source" button on remote. may be called something else but it's the one that selects which port you want to activate, like..HDMI2 or Skart1 etc....whichever port your DVD player is plugged to, select that one on remote.

I have a 14" Konka

Look close to the input sockets, for which they are marked for. They may be for audio out from the TV. Red will be Right and White will be Left. It is meant for taking audio out from that TV, which in turn can be fed to any other external audio equipments, like amplifier or so. As there is no yello colured sockets in it, this TV is not meant for any other external inputs to be fed in. OK.

Make sure that your audio input is the good one that corespond to your video input. After that if the audio input is good, try to disconnect all your video wire and reconnect it,check if the blue and green wire are not swap or try to used an HDMI wire if your DVD have a blug like that. Or if it not possible try to change your input on your tv set.

Connecting dvd?

If everything is connected and dvd player is on, make sure you have the proper input selected on the TV. Input2 on this model TV. Try switching between the inputs.

An important thing you need to do is set the RGB input signal from PC to YUV or you won't have a good picture. This is done through the menu system

Hook up dvd to Konka tv

Keep in mind that there is only one set of RCA (or composite) inputs to this tv. For the video, you have the option of using the RCA jacks OR S Video input. When using the composite set of inputs you are using set of jacks (looking from the back) to the right of the tv that are furthest away from you. The audio for this set of jacks are the second and third composite jacks (counting from the right).

Component Video inputs do not work

I started back in the day of tubes. A family would have one set and it would be a 19" black and white. There are different resolutions now. The components probably do work, but, they don't pass the 480i signal. The satelite converter's analog signal needs to be set to 480p and the DVD needs to be set to progressive if it does have that setting. If the DVD is not a progressive scan DVD, then, the only inputs that it will show on is the analog signal. Some of the dish converters have a switch on the face for changing the resolution. If yours doesn't then put it in an analog source and go to the menu and change it there. Then move it to the component input. Hope this helps.
