Question about Televison & Video
My Time Warner Cable TV remote went out. I want to use my Toshiba model CT-90159 to control the Cable Box. It does have a selector switch so I know it can do it. How do I program the remote???
What you need to do is contact the manufacturer of either your remote control otherwise the manufacturer of the Time Warner [aka: cable providers some times also have the info on file for their customers] they store the code information within their internal systems for their customers such as yourself. Otherwise there is normally a paper insert with the remote control or the Time Warner that would list the info for select manufacturers on there. Toshiba has pretty universal IR signals/codes so you should be okay when trying to program in the codes. The manufacturers can also assist you through the steps--believe me it can get frustrating some times!
