Hi HUNTERHAMPTO, just read your posting. In my 13 years of servicing FISHER@PAYKEL washing machines I have never seen this fault before.Alright, the only 2 places that would make any noise in the machine after it has been unplugged from the wall is the inlet hoses or the drain hose.1st thing to do is to turn off the cold and hot taps to the machine. Then remove the hoses from the tap ends noting which hose goes to the cold tap and which hose goes to the hot tap.Does the humming and vibration stop after removing the hoses? If it does not stop then reply back and let me know where the drain hose is draining to,Is it draining into the laundry sink or some place else.Have no fear as I will keep helping you until this problem is rectified.I am looking forward to your reply on how you got on.Good luck.

Not lit up to show power

You may have overloaded your washer. Some washers have a safety trip feature that activates when the motor is overloaded. Try unplugging the washer and removing the clothes. Once you have done this, go ahead and start the washer again. If you that doesn't work, you made need to check if you have blown an internal fuse or call a qualified technician. I hope this helps. Good luck.

Hi just read your posting. Now when it beeps and stops do any lights flash or come on?If they do they will be on a row of 8 lights.Starting from the far left which lights are on or flashing? Are they the 1st and 4th light or 3rd and 6th --etc--?Please look underneath the machine and look to the front right of the machine You should see your pump which should have a red or black fan on it.Turn this fan a few times and hopefully this will loosen your pump if it is jammed. If you have the pump without the fan please reply and I can guide you throe unjamming it.I think with your symptoms you have described, you might have a jammed pump. Please reply for further help.Hope this helps.
