Playing very fast and erratically, disc will not eject automatically

During a show last night my CDJ-800MK2 began to go haywire. playing in fast forward, as soon as the disc was inserted (any disc) then the disc had to be manually ejected while the player was off. while playing (rather loud) dust was falling from the ceiling. could this be the issue? maybe fell into a connector? please help!!!

My Pioneer CDJ-100 suddenly stopped playing discs. It ejects the disc or it wont start. I managed to force start by fast forwarding the disc but it kept skipping

Hi there, you please let us know your complete problem. Did you get any error message on that time or you insert discs.

Try to open your deck (if you can, otherwise take that to expert one) and remove dirt or any outside particle if, you see.

May be this is disc read error.

Pioneer CDJ-800 screens went bank/dead, still played discs. Now it does neither.

when removeing top cover you will see the power supply on top right side faceing you.there are fuses on that board. Some of the fuses will look like transistors, however will only have two legs, check all. chances are you may have one or more bad.

E-8310 error code, will not play discs and intermittenly will not eject.

This is a Traverse Assembly error. More than likely it will have to be replaced.

The part can be found here: Pioneer CDJ800MK2 Part

But I do not recommend self-repair for something like this.

Not reading cd's anymore.

if you are a electronic technician
you do as follows (you are not consult a technician)
i am not sure, but in my point of view
its due to
  • the eye alignment/replacement problem
  • due to IC chip problem connected to eject button
  • due to dust
  1. first clean (for remove dust) the cd player circuit board, check the cd player is properly working
  2. first mark the position of the screw
  3. align the eye by using a very small screw driver, turn the screw under the eye unit
  4. insert disc and try to play, repeat the steps for getting a better result

Pioneer 800mk2 Does not read cd's

Sounds like both of you have reading/tray issues. You will more than likely need to have your pickup assembly (cd/laser) replaced. You can order the part HERE, although I don't recommend replacing it yourself.
