the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Find and Download Drivers From Manufacturer Websites

The best place to download a driver is direct from the hardware manufacturer. Before you can update a driver, you'll need to find and download the latest version. Drivers downloaded from the manufacturer will be the most tested and up to date available. The manufacturer is almost always the original source of any driver you find anywhere else so why not download it from the source? Note: If downloading drivers direct from the manufacturer isn't possible there are several other driver download resource available. Follow the steps below to find and download drivers direct from hardware manufacturer websites: Difficulty: Average Time Required: Finding and downloading drivers from manufacturer websites usually takes less than 20 minutes Here's How:
  1. Identify the make and model of the specific hardware you need drivers for. You'll need this information so you know what company to contact and then what specific drivers to download from their website.
Important: If you're trying to find drivers for a branded computer system (like a Dell desktop, a Toshiba laptop, etc.), all you need is the exact model number of your complete system. You shouldn't need to identify the specifics of any individual piece of hardware in your computer unless you've upgraded it yourself.
  1. Find the hardware manufacturer's support website. Nearly every hardware manufacturer in the world has a website with detailed support information including driver downloads, manuals, troubleshooting information, etc.
  2. Locate the driver download area of the manufacturer's support site.
Note: The driver download area could be called by any of several different names including "Downloads", "Software Downloads", "Driver Downloads", "Drivers", "Drivers and Firmware", "Drivers and Software", etc. If you visit a website's home page first, look for a "Support" area first. Any driver download options will probably be located within that area of the website.
  1. Using the website's navigation or search abilities, choose the specific hardware you need drivers for.
Note: Every website is different so its hard to give precise instructions on how to navigate through a catalog of driver downloads but most support sites that I've seen are fairly easy to use. If you have trouble finding your way around a specific website, your best bet is to contact the company directly.
  1. Download the drivers to your computer. Save the downloaded file to your desktop or to another familiar location.
Important: Many drivers available today are configured for automatic installation. This means that all you have to do is run the downloaded file and the drivers will be updated automatically. The instructions given on the manufacturer's website should tell you if the drivers you're downloading are configured this way. If so, there's no reason to continue with these steps.
  1. Extract the downloaded drivers. Instructions provided on the driver download page on the hardware manufacturer's website should provide detailed instructions on extracting the drivers.
Note: Usually this involves uncompressing the many driver files located in the compressed file you downloaded. Most compressed files have a ZIP or RAR file extension. Sometimes the compressed files are in a self-extracting format with an EXE file extension, making the process very easy.
  1. The downloaded drivers for your hardware are now ready for updating in Device Manager.

From where can i download my driver cd Nvidia MCP61P Chipset Support CD Rev.251.01

The drivers that you need for devices such as sound, video, ethernet, etc. Are usually contained on a driver CD that was shipped from the manufacturer with the motherboard.
If you do not have this CD, you will have to visit the manufacturer's website to download the drivers that you need.
You need to go to the Nvidia website t download your drivers. Here is a link to that website:
http://www.nvidia.com/support Once you get to the website, look in the support or downloads section of the site for the model number of your board.and select the drivers you need for download. Be sure the drivers you select are for the operating system you are using (XP, Vista , etc.)
In the event that you cannot locate the driver(s), look for a "contact us" link on the website support or home page. This link will provide you with contact information (phone or E-mail) and allow you communicate your problem to them.
If you have any additional questions contact me by clicking on the "Add a comment" link located under your problem description on FixYa. Also, if you believe that this information was helpful to you, please return to the FixYa website and rate my response to your question.
Best regards,

I missed place the driver of my sigma digital pc camera model c-998. can you give me a website to download it. thank you

Hello, this seems to be quite a common problem.

Here is the website of the makers of sigma camera's, Sigma corporation. They have drivers available to download but I couldn't find your camera - I suggest contacting them.

Here are a couple of websites that have sigma drivers - you would need to check if they have the right one.

download free drivers

soft500 drivers

Please ensure you are using an anti-virus before downloading from any website.

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

Drivers for Compaq Presario C790EI

You will need to go to the manufacturers website for each component and download the XP drivers for each one. In other words, if video device is a Radeon Mobility - go to the ATI website and download and install the XP driver for the Radeon Mobility card. Do this for each peripheral you need a driver for. I suggest saving all the driver files and burning them to a CD for safekeeping should you ever need them again.
