Question about Samsung SCX-6322DN All-In-One Laser Printer

I have an "Open Heat Error Cycle Power" message on my samsung 6322DN...what do I do?

Turn the printer off.
Disconnect the power-cable from the wall AC power outlet.
Wait a few seconds.
Reconnect the power-cable.
Turn the printer on.

That is one "cycle" of the power.

    Since you've tried everything that an 'end-user' can try, it is time to take the printer to a qualified technician. Or, it might be less expensive to responsibly recycle the printer, and purchase a new one (maybe one that uses the same ink-cartridges???)

Open heat error cycle power

This error is caused when too much heat is generated. Simply unplug from the mains power for about 30mins to 1hr should help resolve the issue.

Samsung SCX-6322DN power to display "system

Try to re assembly all harness terminated at main board, Test the machine on toner cart and drum cart opened. System not initialized, check the main board.

My copier keeps flashing open heat error! What does this mean?

your thermostat has blown on your fuser. you need to replace the main board and the fuser. this is a pretty common problem on the samsung scx-6322dn which is practically the same machine.

Disassemble fuser and inspect thermistor, thermostat and heat lamp. Replace broken part.
