On the front of your wii (where you insert the disc), you will find a small white door in the middle below the drive that flips open. Inside you will see a red button.

Remove the battery cover of the wii remote you wish to register, leave the batteries in it, and press the red button you find there.

Press the red button on the wii. Stay close with the remote.

You may have to do this more than once; I know I often do.

Hope that does it.

I dont know what setting to put the tv on for the Wii. I've been to the nintendo website and it say the exact same thing as the booklet. My TV is a Hisense. Thank-you

You have to change your TV's video mode. This is usually done with a TV/Video Input button on the TV's remote since the wii connects with composite (Red, White, Yellow) cables. If your TV or remote does not have an TV/Video Input button you might need to consult your TVs manual.

Cant get pass the "press A button" screen

Turn off for a moment, try again, reconnect your controller.

Since its brand new, you can get it replaced if that doesn't work, dont waste your energy on it, just get another one, free replacement / warraty. Im sure.

I cant choose anything on my WII homepage;no cursor

OK the problem is your censor. (if you dont know, its that long thin bar that comes with your wii.) there is really 3 things that could fix your censor: 1. move it because the censor cant read the controller, make sure the censor is plugged in, or get a new censor since its probably broken.

Wii Remote stopped working for no reason.

Well, pressing 1 and 2 doesn't work if your Wii remote came desynched. Press the Red Synch buttons on both the Wii console (located under the SD card flap) and the one on the back of the Wii remote, and hold one then the other for about 5 seconds. Should help.

I can;t get mic to work with guitar hero wii

first check that you have 4 remotes in play the remote for the mic will be the scroller and has to be used to join the band...second this may be unreliable since it came from another source but something to check a wifi connection is needed you dont have to play against someone online just be connected to wifi.
hope these resolve your issues
