Printer says there is a paper jam but there isn't

Please insure that the paper sensor flag is still in it position. Open the printer and look about in the middle to see the flag. Feel if it moves freely.

Hi, Sirs; My name is Heiman, Today I have one question want to request you that, I can not push to stop the button of paper jam in appear a flashing error on the printer. And also when I want to print...

Paper jam means a paper has got stuck up on your printer. open the printer and see if you can carefully pull the paper that has got stuck up in the printer out. after that try fixing the papers correctly in it right positions. or don't load much papers again. if you know you want to print only a page of work, then try putting on one paper inside.
I hope this works for you.

I got a Paper Jam message while trying to print on Avery business card paper. Pulled back the jammed paper by reaching into the tray. Tried printing again, Jammed again. Removed the Jam Clear Cover in...

First off, NEVER EVER turn a componant upside down and shake it. Second, open the printer up and search for any additional paper. A lot of time a paper jam isn't just one sheet, especially if you have a faster printer. I would also try using some rubber rejuvinator on the printer so that it picks the paper up better so it goes through the printing cycle better.

Paper is jamming when I print something

Were you able to remove all of the original jammed business cards? where the leading edge of the "Fanfold" prints occurs, you will probably find something blocking the paper path. HP printers usually have a limit on the paper weight that the printer can handle when doing duplex (2 sided) printing. Check this against the weight of the cards you are printing.

Load mpf paper

Your printer is set to default to the Main Paper Feeder, which is probably set for letter size paper. You must tell it to feed cards. On your Windows Desktop, left click mouse on START. left click on CONTROL PANEL, and left click on the PRINTERS icon. On the PRINTERS screen, RIGHT CLICK on your Dell printer icon. On the drop down menu, left click on PRINTING PREFERENCES. On the PRINTING PREFERENCES window, left click on the PAPER/QUALITY tab. Under TRAY SELECTION, choose the PAPER SOURCE where you want your business cards to feed from. Left click on APPLY button. Next, left click on the ADVANCED button. On the ADVANCED OPTIONS window, use the drop-down box next to PAPER SIZE to choose the paper size you want to feed. Press OK button. The PRINTING PREFERENCES window will now reappear. Left click APPLY, then OK buttons. After you have printed your cards, be sure to restore the printer defaults back to their original state, or the printer may jam because it must be programmed for the paper size being used. If you reload letter paper without resetting the paper size, the printer will think there is still card sized paper in the tray, and it will issue a jam or error code until the paper size is set properly.

Something as simple as cleaning the print heads...
