Television suddenly clicked off while watching a DVD. Have tried unplugging, etc. to no avail. TV is 13 years old. Is it worth repairing??

If hte set is a Sony, the standby light should be blinking a code. Report that code here and we should be able to guide you. That code will indicate the problem circuit within the set that has the fault.
