Question about Black Box IP Address Translator With Bandwidth Management (LR0051A) Proxy Server
I am trying to access my DSC 950G camera on the internet but cannot. when i was home it works on the same network (router) but after trying to access it on other network i am not able to do so. how can i setup it up so i can view the camera at home?
You have to request a static IP from your provider (usually free...at least one) then you will always connect to that one static from outside.

You have to log into the main IP address, not the camera IP address. If you are using wireless, the camera will have an IP address different than the one for the router coming from the ISP.
I just bought this camera myself and am trying to work out the kinks. My ip keeps changing and i am not sure how to keep it the same, static?
