Hi, i have the cuisinart mini prep DLC-194TX. It just started smorking and stopped working. I waited for 10 minutes for the machine to cool down and turned on again but it did not work. Also, it has really bad smell of burnt rubber . Please let me know if it's possible to fix. Thanks

I can't get the damn thing to start and I tested it in the store. No manual. What do you suggest?

    I need just the lid also - seems like everyone sells the bowl and lid together for like $20 with shipping - if anyone one knows how to find it cheaper I'd appreciate the info [email protected] Thanks.

I need just the lid. dlc-194tx. please help
There is a small plastic piece on the lids 1-196 that slides into a slot in theback of the processer and is s safety interlock. unless your new lid will fit into that it will nto work. I know because i bought the wrong lid after the exact plastic piece broke on my original and I could not get the new one to work... right now my "work around" is to put both lids on.. the newer one does have the piece but its it the wrong place and I have to hold them while I use the processor.. sorry

My cuisinart DLC-1ss will not start once plugged in.
The bowl must be locked in the correct position for the unit to turn on.
Remove the bowl, place on unit and rotate into place.

Lid stuck on bowl of my Cuisinart Mini Prep Plus.
Generally they twist off, but on the DLC-2, if the lid won't come off, a replacement bowl and lid is around $18.00
