Yes there's a way to fix that. The best way to fix that is to bring it to your supplier (if it has warranty and in terms and conditions) or to a certified repairman in your area.

HI! HAVE A QUANTUM AUDIO QA1800D MONOBLOCK AMP FORGOT HOW TO HOOK IT UP HAD IT IN THE CLOSET PULLED IT OUT TRIED TO HOOK UP MY MEMPHIS 12'' 200W AND THEY STARTED SMOKING AND WON'T WORK ANY...

Sound like both. But the amp is fried now. It is fixable you have to replace the transistors that is attached to the heatsink. Its a job and a half and need soldering skills.
Parts are just a few bucks on line. What you need to do is open up the amp and disasemble the whole thing. Take the motherboard off completly and look at the transistors for the part number. find the part number and go to this website for a cross-refference fot an NTE part number. http://nte01.nteinc.com/nte/NTExRefSemiProd.nsf/$$Search?OpenForm. Once located the NTE part number. Go to http://parts-express.com/ and search the NTE part number in the search box. Hope this helps.

It was laying on the workbench in my kids stole the fusesWhat size fuses go in a koiiler model 9696 1000watt Max amp? To bridge this 4ch to 2 on the high input side. do you have to tie the input side??...

NO dont tie the inputs. Inputs stay just as they are. Outputs are where the bridging happens.
You amp specs are:
XM-9696 C/W 4 CHANNEL POWER CHROME/WHITE AMPLIFIER
MAX OUTPUT POWER (2 OHM): 200W X 4 = 800W
POWER OUTPUT: 90W X 4 @2 OHM (360W) LESS THAN 0.5% THD
60W X 4 @4 OHM (240W) LESS THAN 0.3% THD
BRIDGED 180W X 2CH @4 OHM

So lets take 800 watts and divide by 13Volts DC = 61.54 Amps
So if there are 2 fuses start with 30 amp. To play it safe you could use 25 amps and if they blow try a 30. Now if the 30 blows you may need to take
another look at your wiring. I think 30 will be fine though.

Shutdown

There is either a thermal problem in the amp itself (a bad part) causing it to shut down after a while, or the amp is overheating due to a load problem. This may be due to wiring issues or a bad speaker. Try running the amp into a set of test speakers connected directly to the outputs with all the other speaker wiring disconnected. If the amp still shuts down you'll know the problem is in the amp itself. If it runs OK, you'll have isolated the trouble to the wiring or speakers and can test that portion.

Crossfire amp 2ch, right side

Possibly an internal issue in the amp (i.e. broken solder joint on the circuit board). Also, check your RCA preout connections, too.
