Question about Danby DAC8003D Air Conditioner
I bought a new Danby 8007E window A/C last summer (2007) and it ran beautifully for a month or so and then it just really did not seem to blow very cold air - acted more like a fan. Every now and then I do hear a noise that sounds like a motor turning on but still no cold air. I put away after the summer and just turned it on again -- still not very cold. I stupidly can not find the receipt for warranty repairs. Any suggestions/quick fixes? Thank you!
Mine did that too
the relay was unfix because of the force that the wires apply on it.
i had to refix the relay on the card with a good welding.

Sounds like you may have a small leak in the sealed system. If you don't have the receipt, contact the factory and provide them with your model and serial numbers, and if they fall within the warranty manufacture date, you should be able to get any Danby factory authorized service center to repair it for you, in accordance with the factory warranty policy.
