Question about Computers & Internet
LOL WOW ! the motherboard doesn't itself come apart. you can open the case and remove the processor, ram, any cards and the cables along with any other hardware, but to even try to solder the board which is layers of circuits printed sandwiched with layers of nonconductive with heatsinks is nigh on impossible. you can try to troubleshoot by component with an o scope and a sig gen but you'd need a whitepaper of the signal, and it's readings at various points of the board. you can try if the problem is obvious, but it is reasonably cheap to buy another motherboard. go to goodwill and get one of their towers and swap your mainboard out. to just clean it take it out and wash it in the sink in warm soapy water and get it very very dry before you try to replace it and put powet to it. electronics chemical cleaners in the can could be used as well, but the warm soapy water is just as good.
