Hello ronmr,

You should be able to find the manual your looking for at Mitsubishi's website at:

http://www.mitsubishi-tv.com/j/i/18344/OwnersGuides.html?tid=18&f1=2007&s=3

you may need to select the model and year, I found your information under 2007, and WD-65732.

I am trying to connect my laptop via VGA cord to my 65" Mitsubishi Medallion, but when I click on the VGA device selection in the device menu, it goes to a blue screen and says "Warning: Turn on...

Press the Windows key + P on your laptop.
Or, if that doesn't work, look on your F keys for something that looks similar to a monitor.
Press the FN key and that key.
This should bring up your laptop's display on the tv.

Why can't my Mitsubishi Medallion go to 1080 with my Direct TV HD service?

if it is a ws-65613 you would have to be connected to the DTV component input on the back of the set as this is the only HD input for this model.

If the set will not go to that input (skips it by) let me know as there is a way to restore missing inputs--if you hook HD in any other way it will not work on this model; let me know if you need help;

I am here to help and know these sets well.

The Light Box can be removed but that will not help you. I do not know of any way to shorten the TV.

Hook up a lg blueray player to mitsubishi medallion 65"

Yes, there is an adapter which will take the hdmi output of the blue-ray and convert it to dvi. You will also need to connect the blue-ray audio out (rca jacks) since the hdmi is both audio and video (digital) and the dvi is video only.

Resistor no R5A73 is a carbon film 10K ohm 1/4 watt 5% resistor. I would suggest getting the service manual as it will break down the xray protection circuit and make it easier to find the problem. You can get one emailed to you at the following link I am one of there support techs and they provide unlimitted free tech support for anyone that purchases a service manual
