You could fix this in the printer, but faster and easier to alter your program's printing function. Check that you are using the correct form template, and either delete one line from your data, The program may be issuing a line feed, or modify the form dimentions.
print on blank paper until you get it dialed in. Hold up to light and lay labels over or under it to see alignment
One other thing on Okidata, use 75% OEM ribbons. The OEM ribbons have print jewel lubricant and the aftermarket ones do not. If you finally need to replace the print head, get rebuilt ones, they have a lube wick that helps with this problem. When the print jewels fail, the letters get fuzzy. The print jewels locate and align the printer pins.
The template size is correct and, because it's a template It doesn't seem to make a difference if I add or delete a line.
This program ( Avery Design Pro) worked perfectly with an old Windows 95 box that finally died.
I replaced it with a newer, but still pretty old, Win XP PRO.
