Power light is on, but goes off when I try to turn set on and the T.V. will not go on and neither will the power light unless I unplug and replug it.

GuruIt sounds like a bad power supply board. I have one in stock if you need one from a working set that has a broken screen. I'll send all boards for 100 dollars plus freight if you are interested. All boards include Power supply coard, tuner and internal lighting boards. Call me if your interested.
