According to the technicians of Apple, Bluetooth in iPhone is not meant for connecting to other phones for transfer of data or otherwise. This bluetooth facility in iPhone is for call-hearingand music-hearing. - MS Ramakrishna

I need help connecting to Bluetooth. I phone 6 plus, jbl reflect mini bt. Do I need to charge them first to have a successful Bluetooth connection?

Hi Sarah, it is slow to use Bluetooth and the signal is not quite stable. I have never use Bluetooth but a specialized software to manage my data. If you'd like to sync files, why not choose a program to move data or backup? You can search for more information at How to Transfer data from phone to phone.

A video is available to help you understand.

My iphone searches but never find bluetooth device

Unfortunately Apple does not allow you to use bluetooth on the phone for connecting with devices that are not hands free, or bluetooth headsets. Therefore, your iPhone may or may not be able to find any devices, but will not be able to connect to them, unless they are headsets or hands-free sets.

When i use my bluetooth on my phone it won't let me pair with my friends phone! her phones bluetooth will detect mine, but it won't pair! It says connection failed ever time.

The iPhones Bluetooth firmware restricts phone to phone and phone to computer pairing to prevent file transfer and for privacy reasons. In short, that pairing cannot be made.

How can I transfer the photos from my Sanyo 3810 cell phone to my Apple I mac? Also, can these photos in the Sanyo phone be displayed on my tv?(which has USB ports)

Hello

Firstly, you can transfer your picture using bluetooth. Activate bluetooth on Apple I mac phone and send the picture from Sanyo 3810.

Secondly, You can remove the memory card on the Sanyo 3810 and insert it on Apple I mac phone.

Photos in the Sanyo phone can not be displayed on tv it can only be displayed on computer using your USB ports and connecting the laptop and the Sanyo phone with the USB code.

Take care,

Hi, I have an iPhone also, you don't connect to other phones anymore, like if you did with normal mobile, if say you searched in a full room of people with the iPhone you would just find the printer in the corner!?!?, bizarre i know, but thats Apple for you, (2 steps forward, 5 backwards) you just connect to Bluetooth appliances like, your car, printer, pc/mac.. Thanks Mark

How do I sinc my samsung hd 8910 to my apple mac

If you are trying to connect using bluetooth you can browse the phone. Go to system preferences and then click on bluetooth at the bottom right of this window
underneath the plus sign is "show Bluetooth status in the menu bar", click on this and it will make it easier to connect to your phone the next time you want to connect. Now click on the plus sign (+) this will bring up the Bluetooth Setup Assistant. click on continue select mobile phone. The blue tooth will start scanning (please ensure that your blue tooth is switched on your phone and ensure that it is discoverable). Hope this helps.

How do I connect my Samsung Jet to my Apple Mac running Osx 10.5.8 for using it as a modem for internet connection.

If your Mac has Bluetooth, you can connect to the phone via a bluetooth connection and use it as a modem. You first need a connection profile on the phone that will allow an IP connection (data) to your phone network, either via 3G or GPRS, though the former is potentially faster.

Then you need to Go into system preferences->Network on your Mac and create a Bluetooth connection profile that may need a user name and password to connect to your phone networks data access point.

Then select the IP profile on the phone, turn Bluetooth on. Turn on Bluetooth on the Mac and select the Bluetooth connection profile in Network on the Mac and click on the connect button, it should then connect and away you go

Bluetooth problems iphone

This is not strictly true - my iPhone connects wonderfully to my Plantronics Voyager 520 headset. It will not connect to other phones, headphones, etc. via bluetooth. It is intentionally crippled and will only connect to a headset via bluetooth.

My guess is that Apple sells songs and doesn't want you trading them around to your friends via bluetooth. Whatever the reason, it's quite annoying.
