Question about HP OfficeJet 6210 All-In-One InkJet Printer

HP 6210 Color doesn't work; second new cartridge in two weeks

Won't print color without having to go through cleaning cycles: The color was running out so I replaced cartridge. Color then wouldn't print. Bought second cartridge and after three cleaning cycles, I was able to briefly print in color. I returned an hour later and the color didn't work again. Should I uninstall the software and reinstall? I did try removing the cartridge and cleaning the contacts. It seems to resume color but only after going through a three-iteration cleaning cycle. Any ideas appreciated!

    I have the exact same problem -- have bought three new color cartridges in the last few weeks. One or two pages will print OK, then nothing. Have tried cleaning the cartridges, etc. Does not resolve the problem.

Your cartridge is drying very fast if it is hardware ptoblem it means that cartridge parking is missing one of its part.

1. when your printer is off or it not in use their is a printer part of small rubber for covering your cartridge head in your printes cartridge parking thar rubber part is missin in your printer .

you may find it in side your printer it self.

I cannot get my HP deskjet 830C to print in color. i just put new cartridges.


First of all I would recommend running a cleaning cycle from your printer. If this still fails to solve your problem please take the following steps:

- Remove the cartridge from the printer and stand it on a hot wet cloth or kitchen towel with the print head touching the cloth.
- Leave for 30-60 seconds and this should remove any ink that may be blocking the nozzle. The cloth will begin to soak up ink from within the cartridge.
- Reinstall and run one more head cleaning cycle which should resolve your problem.
If it still doesn't print correctly then sadly it is likely that the cartridge is faulty.

The printer won't print. It says replace the color ink cartridge. All I want to do is print black and white.


You can only use the black ink cartridge without the color ink. But no need to replace them in your printer.
When you print just choose black and white for the printed text must be black not colored. But if you still received such notification...just try to replace the color ink cartridge to continue printing
Note: As per my experience. printer with exclusive black ink alone will damage the printer easily due to unbalance printing of ink

Check that the HP all-in-one print queue is not paused (Windows) or stopped (Macintosh). If it is, choose the appropriate setting to resume printing. For more information about accessing the print queue, see the documentation that came with the operating system installed on your computer.
Check the USB cable. If you are using an older cable, it might not be working properly. Try connecting it to another product to see if the USB cable works. If you experience problems, the USB cable might need to be replaced. Also verify that the cable does not exceed 3 meters (9.8 feet) in length.

My HP Officejet 6210 All-in-One keeps rejecting my color cartriges. I am willing to just print in Black, but it blocks all print jobs. Any ideas on how to by-pass the color cartrige block?


uninstall the software by going into add/remove programs. Then look at the color cartridge and make sure its an original HP cartridge and not one of the 3rd party type of color cartridges. Try to use originals if you can so you don't run into the printer rejecting them.

With the operating system clean of the software go thru the steps in this guide to make sure everything is being installed properly:

This will make sure that the cartridges are installed and that the software is being reinstalled so nothing is corrupted.

If the printer is still blocking print jobs or rejecting cartridges then you know that its either a printhead problem or a main board issue, either way you would have to get the printer replaced.

I have problem with my printer Hp 3920... the color cartridge didn't... i have buy a new color cartridge but it didn't work too... please help me!


try to wipe it in wet cloth to identify if there is a ink comes out from the cartridge and also to clean the nozzles...and then run a maintenance page ..

Go to your printer panel ..
select maintenance ..
and print maintenance page or clean printhead option..

How do I print with the Photo 99 cartridge?


We need to insert the 99 cartridge in to the black cartridge slot since it is a photocartridge. Once we insert the new 99 cartridge it will detect and then align the cartridge. If it does not, then clean the cartridges and then power cycle the aio and then try again.
