I'd check rodes site and see if you can buy one, or take it to a pro audio repair shop, tubes aren't very expensive and can be easily replaced.

My nt2 started to cut out and fade out so I pluged an nt1 on the same cord and it works fine

Send it back to Rode and if its not caused by Misuse, should be covered under their 10 year warranty.

Hi The pop shield has come off on my nt2.Where

You can have a new one not necessarily Rode. I think its better to replace since you can have it for $15 that can be mounted directly to your mic stand. Hope it helps

The cage of the mic is coming apart i believe it bringing distortion to my microphone.

The grilles of Rode mics are glued in place. They are integral to the RF shielding. You'll have to glue it back in place, making sure there is still metal-on-metal contact.

No sound tube wont light up

Sounds like you need a new Tube. Rode should be able to replace.

Contact Rode (www.rodemic.com), i am unsure if they cover the tube's in their 10 year warranty, if not you will have to pay, or try to replace yourself (not reccomended if you don't know what your doing.)

When recording the signal starts out great but then gets very quiet, sometimes there's a high pitch frequency too. Any ideas? It's 2nd hand but has been working fine for over 3 years.

Your capsule is gone, sorry. I've owned 2 NT2s that I bought over 5 years ago. Eventually the capsule goes and that was what happened to mine: "started working-got quiet-unwanted noise"
The first time it happened Rode replaced my capsule for a $50 flat rate repair fee (capsules are $300..what a great co.)
However I recently contacted them about the second one and they no longer have replacement parts.
They did offer to give me a discount on a new mic if I sent the broken NT2 to them for parts.
It's too bad...I love those mics.

Hi, my NT2 has started having massive cuts in volume mid take and also it's generating a very high pitch frequency from time to time. Any ideas? Mike

Rode ntk has lost gain

This is more likely typical component failure, and will require professional service. A tube change is easy to perform, however, and should be the first troubleshooting step.
