How do i repair my Plasma TV ?

It's best if you contact a TV specialist to repair it. Once the plasma TV's develop problems, it is no longer a joke. Only thing you can do is send it away for repair. You cannot do it unless you have specific knowledge and special tools besides a soldering iron, pliers and skills. I have an LG Plasma TV. Early last June it had exploded twice. It killed the TV. I sent it away for repair. Then 3 weeks after it got repaired it exploded again. The latest bang was last Sunday (29-6-14), fusing the whole house. I found out why it had happened. I had my Sony Vaio Notepad connected to the TV via an HDMI cable, the same as last time, and the TV made a loud bang. Last time it made a loud bang but didn't fuse out the house, The TV just destroyed itself. This time the TV survived the burnout but fused the house and I was left in the dark to fix the fuses. When I switched the fusebox back on, the TV automatically turned itself on, but I had already removed the notebook. So, I guess Plasma TV's cannot accept HDMI signal from computers. It makes the TV run too hot, as explained by the TV technician but I am not sure. I am still trying to contact LG to question whether this is a possibility that connection of a computer to a TV via a HDMI ports causes the TV to increase its temperature. We are in Winter. perhaps it was my heating system.
You did not say why your TV had malfunctioned. Did you connect a computer or any peripheral that could have upset the TV? If so, prease state what it was connected. It helps understand your case better. So, best bet is to have it repaired by a qualified technician.

Knock or Bang

I would try to localize where the sound is coming from--take back off and listen when set is turned on---from speakers or from inside the TV.

Phillips 42 glass base exploded at 4:00 am.... no apparent reason

Same thing happed to us. We had the TV on the wall for well over a year and had the base buried in the closet in the same room. About 8:30PM late last year we hear a muffled bang (pretty loud as we were in the same room). Looked in the closet and there where hundreds if not thousands of glass shards everywhere. So far, I've noticed 5 incidents of this happening and 3/5 are Phiplips bases. There's a video on YouTube of a Samsung base that exploded too...very disturbing! Only thing I can think of is that they use some kind of a polymer mix with the glass that's unstable.

Loud bang from system.Unit starts immediately power is supplied.Power switch does nothing.H/Drive and players run.No video ( card OK ) checked with another card. Can the problem be motherboard?

The load bang is most like an exploding capacitor in the switch mode power supply, especially if there is a burnt electrical smell from the power supply.
I suggest you borrow a switch mode power supply, remove the old power supply and install the replacement power supply. make sure it has the same or larger wattage unit.
If the computer still does not boot up then the exploding power supply has damaged the motherboard, and you need to replace then motherboard too. This may not be a cost effective solution.
This is an opportunity to get a new and better computer.

Akz161-03-IX Can you please advise if other people have reported exploding glass doors on this oven

I have experienced 'exploding' doors on all types of ovens. The most common reason is that the glass door has, at some time in its life, had a 'knock or bang'. The glass door could be fine for an indeterminable length of time.

Broken inner glass doo

Generally speaking it is not a manufacturing fault.

Can be caused by many reasons.
The main reason is because of a cold surface coming into con tract with the inner door glass, for example, wiping the hot glass door with a cold damp cloth, or banging thr door to hard to close it, there are other reasons as well, but to reiterate, it is not a manufacturing fault.
Please rate my solution.
