Try resetting the router, press the reset button at the back for 10 seconds, after that release the reset button and then unplug the power of the router, then wait for 10 seconds and then turn it back on.
After that try accessing the IP of the router 192.168.1.1 (if this did not work try 192.168.0.1,this varies on the model number of the router). Or follow the same steps you have done previously.

Based upon what I've read regarding and experience with the F5D7230-4 is it will only work with another F5D7230-4 or F5D7231-4, F5D7130, F5D7132 and this are all Belkin products as well I thiink it has something to do with the WDS compliance for this specific model that's why they have clearly specified on the User Guide which devices are guaranteed to work with an F5D7230-4 that is set to AP Mode(Bridge/Repeater).
If you really want to exend the wireless coverage of your Linksys router I suggest you try the Wireless G Range expander(WRE54G v2.0/3.0 version 1.0 I do not recommend since it's somewhat challenging to configure since it has no ethernet port all the setup will be done wirelessly)
click this link for the User Guide of your Belkin router.

Whoops, found it. http://cache-www.belkin.com/support/dl/f5d6231-4_manual.pdf
If I were setting this up for myself or a customer, I'd keep the Airtel IP's and let it be the DHCP server. To do this, you pick a fixed IP address for the Belkin, something like 192.168.1.251. Log into the Belkin and change the LAN IP address to that and turn off DHCP. Those instructions start on pdf page 34.
Now, plug one of the 4 ports into the Airtel, and from a computer connected to the network type in 192.168.1.251 in Internet Explorer. It should get you to the Belkin where you finish setting it up for wireless security and password from page 38.
You won't use the WAN port.

What type of router is this? (model/manufacturer)
Can you get online?
Go to start
click on Run...
type in 'cmd' and hit OK
in the black command prompt window type ipconfig and find your default gateway. if your default gateway is 192.168.2.1 and it will not load the config page then reset the router to factory defaults.
To reset the router, refer to the service manual that came with the router. Most routers have a reset button that you need a pencil for. Many of them you must hold down for 10-20 seconds. Some of them you must turn the router off, hold the button down, and then turn the router back on (some routers dont have switches so you must pull the power cord to turn them on/off)

The password on most Belkins is left blank, and the default IP address is 192.168.2.1
To reset the router to default,
•Unplug all LAN cables from the router.
•Unplug the router power cord connector from the back of the device.
•Using a paper clip or something similar that will fit into the reset hole, press continue to hold the reset button, then carefully reinsert the power cord, making sure not to release the reset button in the process.
•Continue to hold the reset button in for at least 15 seconds after inserting the power cord, then release it. After about 10-25 seconds the router will boot and it will be set back to the original factory default settings.
