Would you have a list of the different resistiors???

I was looking at your comments on the hcl4715w sets. I was also interested in the biasing resistors. Might you have a list of the resistors I would need as well to save on shipping???

My CDT40 is not heating when used and when I press the option lights, they flash once then go off

Check the bias thermostat on the blower wheel housing, thermal fuse, high limit thermostat, and heating element on the back of the machine for continuity with a multimeter. Replace any of the mentioned parts with new one form the parts list below. Below is a video to show you how to check for continuity. The dryer is a little different, but the principles are the same.

Acer model AT3201W no picture?? Sound is great, everything is connected tightly. Checked the manual ...no help..

There are several things that could be the problem, as usual. However I did manage to get a set working with the following characteristics:
- Set powered on ok and displayed the Acer logo fine.
- All of the inputs had very low brightness and poor colour.
- The backlight was working and appeared bright.
- The picture was barely usable with brightness/contrast set maximum.

I figured the issue here was a loss of the picture settings in the eeprom in the unit. So I set about to find how to get to the factory menu to set these things. This assumes you can get a menu to display on the set.
To enter factory mode on the remote control press menu/menu/234/menu. You will see the menu displayed with some info in the top bar that is normally not shown.
Then on the front of the TV press Volume- and Channel+ at the same time and hold until the factory menu appears.
You may see that the RGB gain and bias values are low or 0.
If that is the case set the colour temperature mode to Standard and then adjust the RGB gain and bias values to the following:
R gain: 434
G gain: 482
B gain: 484
R bias: 270
G bias: 270
B bias: 264

Then set the colour temperature to Cold and enter the following values:
R gain: 434
G gain: 482
B gain: 484
R bias: 270
G bias: 300
B bias: 310

Similarly, for Warm adjust the values to:
R gain: 434
G gain: 482
B gain: 484
R bias: 300

G bias: 280
B bias: 264

Then, if this was the problem, the picture should be fairly adequate.

Hope this works for you...
BTW I must give some credit here to another poster who provided a similar solution to a different problem here:

Tires

The main difference between radials and bias-ply tires lies in their construction. Tires aren’t just toroidal balloons, they are reinforced with cords of steel or synthetic materials such as nylon or Aramid. In bias-ply tires, the fibers are wrapped in an X pattern between the beads; in radial tires, the fibers are wrapped perpendicular to the tread. Radial tires have more flexible sidewalls than bias-ply tires, and thus absorb road irregularities better and have a comparatively larger contact patch when leaned over. Because of the flexible nature of a radial, these offer higher mileage compared with a comparable bias-ply for a given rubber compound. Since they absorb small road irregularities better, they ride more comfortably and are less likely to be upset by groovy pavement. While radial tires perform better than bias tires, some older motorcycles can’t be fitted with radial tires because of differences in rim profiles. You probably won’t notice much of a difference anyway, so stick with boas tires if that’s what the motorcycle was designed for.

Who might know the resistor vaues I would need for the convergence board???

The 010. 020 and 040 ICs are interchangeable with the 392-040 ICs being better. The site I posted has origional sanyo ICs you can get them cheaper but when it comes to convergence ICs you end up getting what you pay for if there under 20.00 each they arent sanyos. I dont know of any kits for samsung Hitachi selld kits but they wont have the one your model needs, The convergence resistors are special metal films so most places wont stock them

You have this listed in a camera group, but from the entire question and comments, it seems like an OS question. I will answer this as an OS question, if it's not, please clarify with comments and what camera you are working with. Thanks.

If your interested in having your XP OS look like Vista, there is a Vista Transformation Pack you can obtain from here to accomplish this.

TV losing its channel memory

I had the same problem. I replaced the EEPROM marked U33 (it's a 24C32 in a smd package) and the TV worked fine.
BEFORE replacing the EEPROM you have to go into the Service Menu (hold down VOL- and CH+ on the local command) and take a note of all the values, specially the R,G,B gain and R,G,B bias, in the "standard" picture mode as well as in the "Cold" picture as well as in the "Warm" picture mode.

(if you forgot to do this, here are my default values:

R gain: 434
G gain: 482
B gain: 484
R bias: 270
G bias: 270
B bias: 264

then you put the "Cold" image mode and set again those values, increasing the G bias to about 300 and the B bias to about 310.

then put the "Warm" image mode and set again those values, increasing the R bias to about 300 and the G bias to about 280)

The other values such as brightness, contrast etc, have to be left at 50.

I hope this solution will FixYa!
