Somebody probably got cute and put something in it as a joke. First thing would be to look from either end with a bright light to look for blockage. If you can see it and how it was probably put in, consider using a strong shop vacuum cleaner to pull out the contamination. If this doesn't work, I would carefully remove the valves to open up the channels in caase the contimantion is jammed in a valve. You may want to remove the tuning slide. With all open, an air compressor with blow nozzzle might work to clear the channel.

Zoom G1X: After replacement the resistor R54 the led indicator of pedal asign selector don't work, Any idea?

When a resister burns out that is an indication that something is shorted out. They are considered passive parts and control current flow. You need to check the LED that is inline with that resistor and also any associated circuitry.

Intermittent pitch variations

I'm assuming you have a Hammond organ, and also that it's individual notes rather than the whole generator. it sounds like the individual tonewheels are dragging, normally due to oil not getting to the place it needs to go. The thread system may have been damaged, or there may have been something other than Hammond oil used at some time in it's life, which can lead to wax building up on the threads and blocking oil flow. If it's the whole generator it's the same problem but on the main bearings. It doesn't take much drag to make an audible difference. At any rate, I'd suggest getting a in-person diagnosis from your local Hammond repairman.

You don't mention what type of clarinet you have bought. Without this info I cannot answer or even guess, my guesses are very well educated, what the problem is.

Periodic cutting out of main amp

Check proper impedance speakers, as this amplifier's minimum impedance should be 4 Ohm, check for the proper fan operation and free air flow thru the entire power amplifier section, hope this helps.

Alesis Multimix8 started smoking and now won't turn on. If it is a fuse or something how do i replace it?

A blown fuse will not produce smoke. A component failed and probably fried a resistor, which would smoke. That in turn would blow the fuse.Just replacing the fuse will not cure the problem. Your unit needs repair.

Mackie mr8 mk2 overheating problems

I have had the same problem. My solution to fix the over heating is to remove the back panel and take out the plastic bass port pipe. This then takes the air from the woofer and cools the heat sink. (In my opinion the heat sink is too small and located completely in the wrong place) the bass response is still very clear and I have not experienced any distortion at all at high volumes. WARNING! Do no put your hands inside the bass port after you have removed the pipe. You will get a shock! This is not ideal but its better than having a loud fan.

My crown Itech 4000 left channel is phasing in and out. Could it be a collection of dust problem?

It is POSSIBLE that it could be a collection of dust problem however my guess would be on a loose wire being vibrated by the sound from a nearby speaker.
I would
  1. Clean all dust you see off
  2. Test and see if problem is corrected
  3. If it isnt check to see if there are any loose wires.
  4. If there are no loose wires. Let me know.

It seems to have no power the led light doesn't come on. its brand new, but I havent used it in about five years

Are you using battery or AC adapter for power?
Most pedals won't allow you to use both. Check that there is no battery installed if you're going to plug it in. If you are using a battery, Some pedals won't light an LED on battery power.
If problem persists, your pedal may be DOA

I have a lowrey organ and when i plug it in it does nothing . no power at all anybody got any ideas

If you feel comfortable doing it you could try removing the back and examining the power supply. Make sure the power cord is not plugged in. Remove the screws holding the back on the organ. Look to see where the power supply is. It will be a fair sized metal box that the power cord comes out of. Look for a fuse holder on the box.If there isn't one or you already checked the fuse look to see how the power supply is fastened down. If you can remove it you can check the power cord from the plug end to the connection in the power supply with a volt ohm meter on the lower resistance scale. Check both sides of the power cord . Look for an internal fuse soldered into the circuit if there is one. Check it also. You can also check the power switch the same way. Think of the power cord and switch etc as a garden hose. You want to make sure that the flow of electricity is not interrupted any where between the plug and the power transformer. Do all these tests with the cord unplugged. Also avoid touching anything connected to the filter capacitors as they store dangerous amounts of electricity. If none of this helps note the plug that connects the power supply to the organ. Unplug it and take the power supply in to be tested. A good piano service place should be able to direct you to someone. Also remember that something had to make the power supply fail if it is indeed faulty. None of this is simple or recommended for a person who has no experience with electricity or electronic repair. If you feel at all hesitant about doing it you are better advised to consult a repair person. If you do have experience but no schematic you can still usually find the problem with careful thought and procedure. Break the circuit down into modules and test them one at a time starting with the power supply. It could be something as simple as a frayed cord or blown fuse to something as complex as a burned out transistor or faulty tube ( in the case of older organs) causing the power supply to fail. I once repaired a home organ that the power supply blew in again because of the customers house wiring. That particular wall plug in had been wired improperly. Hope all this helps.
