What can I do to boot my PC without using the F8 key?


If you have to select the boot device every time, this means that the BIOS (CMOS) setup does not have the boot device listed as the first device to boot from. At startup, press the key that enters CMOS (BIOS), usually DELETE, or possibly F2. Once in the CMOS, look for boot options, then boot devices, then boot sequence. Find your device and ensure that it is listed first in the boot order sequence. Then save the changes and reboot. You may have it set for a USB or network boot first and it won't boot without intervention.

Winfast boot sequence problem


Boot sequence problem? You set the boot sequence permanently in the Bios or System Setup. Normally when you boot the system the screen will tell you what key to hit to get into the Bios or Systems Setup.

You can set the boot sequence temporarily (just for the current boot cycle) by watching the screen when you boot and it will tell you which key to hit to change the boot sequence or boot order.

Why won't my computer boot to the A drive?


Because the BIOS is probably set to boot the hard drive first. The A drive, second or third depending on the boot order set in the BIOS.

Only booting after pressing f12 and select boot devise


Hi,
You must change the boot sequence from your BIOS.
To do this, when your computer starts press F1 or F2 until you enter the bios setup menu. Usually on Toshiba is F1 or Esc key.
Now that you are in the BIOS, you must locate the boot order section. Just go through every page until you see something like Boot Device, Boot Order, Boot Management, Boot Sequence, etc. (its different for each computer)
There, change the boot order to move the Hard Disk or DVD ROM in the top two items in the list.
Save your settings and exit the BIOS.
Your computer will restart and it should boot up normally.

PXE errors are generated by the network boot ROM. In other words, the boot process is attempting a network boot (your BIOS' 4th boot option), which means that your system was unable to boot from a HDD, CD-ROM, or USB device (the first 3 boot options).

PXE-E61 Media Test Failure, System won't boot:

1.Go to Bios Settings
2.Remove LAN booting from booting options...For laptop ,type "X" on the LAN booting option.
3.Save The configuration

Also verify if your harddisk is detected by BIOS

Boots come in many variations and Styles. There are Different Types of Snowboard Boots appropriate for the Three Riding Styles in Snowboarding. Currently, a lot of boarders prefer soft boots with Strap Snowboard Bindings, but step-ins are a convenient alternative. What follows are descriptions of the most common types of Snowboard Boots: Soft Boots Softboot Soft Boots are most comfortable and can be used with highback bindings and flow-in bindings. This type of Snowboard Boots allows for a large amount of movement in just about any direction. Consequently, soft boots are a must for pulling tricks since they are great for doing whatever you want. Soft Boots consist of two parts: an inner bladder and an outer boot. The inner bladder is padded to keep your feet warm, dry and protected from heavy impacts. It usually has its own lacing so you can tighten the inner bladder independently from the outer boot. The outer boot has a sturdy upper part that allows for ankle movement. The outer lacing allows you to further tighten the Boots. In contrast to Hard Boots and Ski Boots, Soft Boots are pretty comfortable for walking and even driving your car when you're not on the board. Boot cd-rom type:cd-rom/non-emulation booting


No, it's because Microsoft changed the way boot CDs work with SP2. You need an old CD (Windows XP SP1). I had the same problem here, notebook without floppy, it won't boot from the newer XP version CDs (SP2 or SP3) - but an old SP1 CD works!
(Those were all original Microsoft CDs, and the SP2 / SP3 CDs boot just fine on several other PCs I tested. It's just that some old hardware has a problem with the boot mode used on newer Windows CDs.)
