This is usually caused by a failed component in the moisture detection circuitry within the camera and can usually be repaired fairly inexpensively. However, it's not a user serviceable problem and will need to be repaired qualified service technician.

I have a hole in the ac condenser iv taken the condenser and radraidtor out I have no money to buy new parts can ibypasss it

If you just had a hole in condenser and not radiator, and it does not bother you to not have air conditioning, you should have taken it apart. The air cond. will detect low freon pressure and not turn on.

HI, When turn on BetacamSP PVW-2800P, i get message: "Error10". How can i fix it, help me, please! Thanks

  • An Error Code 10 indicates that condensation is detected. There is a condensation sensor in there and it's detecting to much condensation. Take it to a dryer room and put a fan on it for a bit to get the condensation out of it. When it dries up the Error Code 10 should go away.

MY IDEAL LOGIC 30 HAS FAULT CODE L2 ALMOST EVERY DAY SINCE INSTALATION DEC 2010

is boiler still under warranty?
normal warranty lasts at least 2 years
if so get ideal to send one of their engineers out
L2 relates to flame failure
either boiler has failed to ignite
or
boiler has not detected flame once lit

several causes

failure to ignite
ignition electrode/spark generator

failure to detect lit flame
detection electrode/detection lead

blocked condensate pipe
or defective condensate syphonic trap

you really need an engineer to check these components

I push the tape in as to load it and it immediately pops back out.

Your camera is experiencing condensation - your LCD should have a flashing image of a red droplet (this is a condensation warning). REMOVE THE CASSETTE to avoid damaging it.

Another cassette CANNOT and SHOULD NOT be loaded when condensation is detected.

Leave the cassette compartment open - its takes an hour until the water droplets evaporte. After the condensation warning stops flashing, wait for 1 more hour before resuming use.

A condenser mic. requires "phantom power" usually supplied by a mixing desk. Without this, there will be no output signal from the mic.

How can I disable a Condensation Sensor on a Canon Elura 50. It always detects "condensation" now, and the casette door will not close anymore. All I get is the message "Condensation has been detected", it...

Strange, if there is indeed moisture in the device, you could try an un-agressive approach of putting the device in a bag of rice.

Alternatively, if your clothes dryer has a rack, you could try leaving the camcorder in there for 15 min or so on medium. As soon as you remove the device from the dryer, attach a vacuum cleaner to an area of the camera such as where the battery would go, to **** fresh air through it... This will evacuate any mosture still in the device and is by far the best method in my opinion.

Condensation

The camera has a sensor inside to detect condensation. Condensation can cause the tape to stick the the transport mechanism, resulting in possible damage.

Condensation can occur if the camera is moved from a cold environment to a warm one. The only thing you can do is open the tape compartment, remove the tape to allow maximum airflow and wait for the camera to warm up and any condensation to evaporate.

If the condensation warning had come on and your camera hasn't experienced a sudden change of temperature, this could indicate a possible fault. I'm afraid this is not something you would be able to fix yourself.

Condensation

When pouring a chilled beverage into a glass, water droplets may form on the surface of the glass. This happens because the air around the glass is rapidly cooled down, and moisture in the air adheres to the surface of the glass. This phenomenon is called condensation. This kind of condensation may also occur with camcorders. If you continue to use the camcorder with condensation on it, it could damage the camcorder. Condensation may form on the camcorder in the following cases: (1) When being moved from a cold place to a warm place (2) When being used in a rapidly-heated cold room (3) When being used in a humid room (4) When being moved from an air-conditioned room to a warm, humid place When condensation occurs: The camcorder stops operating automatically after its power lamp flashes. The warning message "CONDENSATION HAS BEEN DETECTED" appears and the condensation-warning icon below starts flashing. Condensation-warning icon If a cassette is loaded, the warning message "CONDENSATION HAS BEEN DETECTED" and "REMOVE THE CASSETTE" appear and the cassette-warning icon starts flashing. Cassette-warning icon If a cassette is loaded in the camcorder, remove the cassette immediately and leave the cassette compartment open. If condensation is detected, the POWER switch and cassette-removing switch will be activated. Leaving the cassette in the camcorder may damage the tape. A cassette should not be loaded into the camcorder when condensation is detected. How to avoid condensation Unload the cassette and place the camcorder in an airtight plastic bag when moving to locations where temperatures vary. Allow time for the camcorder to adjust to temperature changes slowly before removing it from the bag. Resuming use Allow at least one hour before resuming use; more time may be required for heavier condensation. When condensation has been eliminated, turn the camcorder on. After the condensation-warning icon stops flashing, wait one hour before resuming use.
