Question about Bosch 24 in. SHE44C02UC / SHE44C06UC / SHE44C07UC Built-in Dishwasher

No power apparent

The dishwasher was in the midst of a cycle when it suddenly turned off and now the panel will not turn off or on. I tried turning the breaker off and then on but still no power to the dishwasher. The disposal is on the same breaker and works.

Please help!

Sounds like the some problem that I am having with mine. The machine is not responding to any of the buttons. There is water still sitting in the bottom of the dishwasher. The breaker has not been tripped and the plug is working fine. Any solutions?

Does Bosch/Siemens stand behind this manufacturing issue (which it appears to be) or do you just keep replacing the wire nuts? Thank you for any help!

Hey daddy1264! You hit the solution right on the head. This is what was wrong with mine. The repair man came in and before he even looked at the dishwasher he guessed that this was the problem. There is a little more though... although ceramic wirenuts will not burn, they will become very hot.. That is why Bosch has a little steel box around the connection. Technically you are wireing 12 gauge wire from your house connection to what is supposed to be 12 gauge wire in the dishwasher. The reality is that in order to be a "greener machine" it has a certain percentage of recycled materials, including the wireing. Although the dishwasher wire is 12 gauge in thickness, it is more likely the equivelant of a 14-16 gauge wire in purity of alloys. The result is the massive amount of heat generated by the starving washing machine's draw. This will also lead to a shorter life for the dishwasher.

Bosch dishwashers pull a large amp draw, check your connection at the base of the dishwasher....i would be looking for the wire nuts that connect the dishwasher to you power coming in......replace with ceramic wire nuts, the regular ones will melt...did you smell something hot before it quit?

Our machine is frozen not responding to panel buttons

You can try resetting your dishwasher.

1. First, unplug the dishwasher power cord or turn the circuit breaker off for 30 seconds.
2. Then, plug the dishwasher power cord into the wall outlet or turn the breaker back on and wait 30 seconds.
3. After that, press the Pause / Cancel / Stop button twice to clear the display.
4. Finally, start a short cycle, to check operation of the dishwasher, by selecting a cycle and pressing and holding the start button until the dishwasher starts.

Stuck in delicate cycle

Wonder if you mean rinse cycle. Try to turn the mains power off and turn back on. Clean the panel with clean damp cloth.

I have a whirlpool DU1145 dishwasher that seems to be stuck on the same cycle. It shows it as sensing and washing at the same time and never shuts off. HELP! WHat could becausing this??

Sounds like your Touch Pad on the Control Panel is defective.

You can try and remove the 120 Volt AC power from the Dishwasher by turning it off at your Main Electrical Power Panel with the Circuit Breaker (15 or 20 amp) labeled: Dishwasher .

Leave the Dishwasher turned "Off" for 10 minutes. This will allow the control circuits on the Dishwasher to reset. Turn on the Dishwasher and press Cancel and attempt to Drain the Dishwasher. If this works...then try to enter a Rinse Only cycle and if that works... then attempt to enter a Wash Cycle.

If you still have your original problems then you probably have a defective:
(1) Touch Pad Assembly (or possibly a defective)
(2) Electronic Control Module (ECM)

8 yr old GU1200 stopped mid cycle - no apparent reason - no response to buttons - appears dead?

These dishwashers have a thermal fuse in the control panel. If it overheats for some reason (sometimes a bad connection on the fuse itself causes that)it will turn whole machine off.
  1. Disconnect power to dishwasher. Remove screws holding the control panel from the side of the inner door. Remove control panel. If it does not come off - remove all screws on the inner side of the door and separate the inner and outer door.
  2. Fuse is on the right side on top of the control board. it usually has tan or black or yellow wires to it. Disconnect wires and check fuse for continuity. if none - replace fuse. Here is your part
Good luck

The Problem is Related to the Dishdrawers Motherboard Control Center This usually happens when water condensation sits on the board to long and Short Circuits controls.

GE Triton not working

Jitterbugclu-
I may have the solution. Husband just turned off power to dishwasher via circuit breaker. Waited around 30 minutes.
Restored power and Triton came back with normal lights.
I just ran a cycle and all was well. Hope this helps you.
My fingers are crossed because I don't know what happened but did read on another site that this should be the first thing you try before expen$ive repairman.
Reply back if it works!

The problem with the dishwasher acting haunted is probably the main controller card. If you don;t have an extended waranty, know that LG will cover the parts for free through 24 months but after 12 months, the labor will be charged.

I also had this problem. Support person couldn't tell me if the pump was supposed to run even when setting the control knob to 'off' (bar before (1)). After draining the pan, the control knob functioned normally. So apparently any power to the unit will run the pump when the overflow pan is filled, no matter the position of the knob.

Setting cycles and turning dishwasher on

Frenda Most likely the problem with your dish washer is shorted one or more pads on the key panel. To fix it the key panel has to be replaced. If you'll provide the complete model number and color for the control panel for your dish washer, I can help you to find the best deal on this part. Gendos
