Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
Yes it is repairiable but very difficult it is know as the yellow light of death. I got it just last week on my 5yr old ps3. To repair it you would have to reflow the motherboard so unless youve got lots of screwdrivers and your good with a heat gun. if not then send it to sony for $150 repair or get a new one...Im sorry
PS. your gonna get a new hardrive if sony fixes it which means starting all over

system turns on but then turns itself off, beeps at you and flashes it's lights
at you then you have over heated the system. The GPU chip has probly pulled
itself away from the board. This will require you to diassemble the PS3...
