  1. Remove the spark plug and attach the plug's HT lead to it with the plug resting on the metal of the blower. Try to start it like this watching the gap in the spark plug to see if it sparks. If the plug sparks you'll know that the problem is not with the spark.
  2. If the plug sparks ok then the problem is with the fuel. When you take out the plug was it wet or dry. If it was wet then the motor is flooded and you'll need to let it dry out. If it was dry dip the metal end of the plug (where it sparks) in your fuel can and replace it in the machine. Try to start it. This could help it to start.
  3. If this fails remove the plug again and pour approx 1 teaspoonful of fuel into the opening. Replace the plug and try to start it again. This teaspoonful of fuel should ignite and get the machine running.
Note if the machine was left unused for a few months with fuel in the tank there may be a gel formed in the carbuerettor which can block jets and prevent the fuel from getting through. If this is the case, and depending on how bad the blockage is, putting the teaspoonful of fuel in the spark plug chamber could just cause the fuel to be sucked through. Leaving fresh fuel in overnight could possibly disolve it. If the gel is thicker the only way to remove it is to bring it to a mechanic who'll strip down the carbuerettor and clean it.
I hope one of these solves your problem.

Will not start even withew gas

Try a spray of starting fluid into the carb. If it fires you know you have good spark. If it did not fire replace your spark plug. If it still won't fire point and condensor need to be replaced. If it did fire spray the starting fluid in the carb a few more times to pull the old fuel through the fuel line til the new gas gets through the carb and then it should run. Some machines have a fuel shut off valve make sure it is open.

I've put a new sparkplug and new filter -but the blower won't start . Doesn't even feel like it wants to start

Put a spoon full of gasoline straight down the plug hole. Reinstall the plug, if it starts then you obviously have a fuel problem. You may need a new kit installed in the carburetor. Easy fix.

Put new spark plug in new gas clean filter followed starting directions want start

The fuel system may need tending to. It may need new fuel lines, a cleaned fuel filter and the carburetor cleaned and adjusted. If this is an older unit, (even a couple years old) it may require some new internal carburetor parts as well. I don't like being the bearer of bad news, but this isn't always an easy fix. Your specific problem has to be diagnosed and by process of elimination, the problem resolved.

Husqvarna Leaf Blower won't start

yes, it is. i suggest checking to make sure the plug is firing--you can check by removing it, plugging it back into the plug wire and resting the threads of the plug on any ground--usually right outside the spot where the plug screws in. have someone pull the cord while you see if the plug fires. DON'T touch the plug while the engine is being cranked. also, even if you see a spark, it may not fire inside the engine. if the spark is weak, you may want to put in a new one.

May have moisture in the fuel. Try draining the old fuel out, put in new, add Stabil, or some other fuel stabilizer, clean & gap plug. Should start.

Unable to start my 155BT blower. Have changed

Is the new spark plug wet? If not, the machine is not getting fuel (fuel filter, carb, etc.) If the plug is wet, you may not be getting spark (bad ignition module, short in switch/harness, bad plug (yes it does happen with even new plugs)), or flooding due to incorrect starting procedure or clogged airfilter. Stale fuel can also cause an engine not to start as it lacks volatility. If in doubt, take it to your local dealer.
