I bought htis phone 2 months back , and first it used to get freeze and then store rep fixed tht saying tht it has sim prob , now when i switch the camera , nothing happens , phone get freeze and hanged , i have to remove battery and reinsert it to start the phone again ,
when i took the phone to the store , the guy told me that it has liquid damage , and in my knowledge the handheld never got under any knid of liquid...
please suggest me wht i can do now ,as i have to pay again for replacing it for new one .
My sister's blackberry curve 8310 had the same problem with the camera, it would just show up the "could not start the camera. Close other applications and try opening the camera again." message.
In my case the camera hardware was working fine, it just needed more pressure towards the motherboard so it would make more contact. I disassembled the blackberry completely. Then i used some extra foam i had from previous housings, like the one that some blackberries have in their battery cover to do a little bit more pressure on the battery or the one thats around the camera, flash and speaker. I took that foam and cut it into very small pieces and put it around the camera base in the motherboard and around the camera hole in the middle frame. Assembled everything and put some extra foam between the battery cover and the middle frame close around the camera so it would apply pressure. This will void your warranty tho, so yep its easier to just make a backup with desktopmanager and get a new one using your warranty.

unlock phones are so unperdictable...there may not be a fix for this issue..other then getting an AT&T phone....and even if u are able to get it to start working again more then likely u wil continue to have many more isses..mainly becuz of the network changes..for example....using 3g and 3g only...last year the AT&T network was stil using both 2 and 3g network and there was even a few 2g SIM cards being sold in stores...now it almost all 3g..which of course complicates many things...even if u own a 2g AT&T phone a 3g SIM card can be and will be used on that phone....with unlock phones running on the 2g network the issues with not having a SIM card where possible...it was still unstable when wanting to use data services....but voice services were possible...now with everything going 3g...its makes things alot more complicated with AT&T if using a phone without SIM cards...if ur phone has the fuction to beable to shut off 3g networking and run on 2g.(like the apple iphone has) then try that....good luck
here is what you do, call tmo from a land line phone..tell the rep the prob..they are going to tell you take the sim card out and read the little numbers on the back it to them then place back in the sidek..the rep will try to set u up from their end...now if this shall not work they will send you to the nearest tmo store to get a updated sim card...(be nice there is a chance you can get this for free, no charge)..
mayb you can try to do a hard reset.
Take out your battery press and hold end call button ( don't release ) then put in your batery wait the loading finished and change to other screen then you release your from the end call button you pressing just now.If still can't work,no choice need to go back to you service center .
i have a pda mobile "Cell Phone MP3 MP4B55" so i am led to believe however i have no way of putting pictures or music on it as i have no disc to upload on my computer.I was wondering if there is a website i could use or something else you could suggest to me? also my camera doesnt work and i am unable to find how to switch my bluetooth on can you help me please? x
I work for at&t and have seen this problem before there are 2 things you should try. First, try doing a soft reset by removing the battery from the phone while it is still on, and if that doesn't work you should go to your nearest Corporate Owned retail store and have a rep check it out in the system, it can be fixed usually by removing your data feature and readding it to your account. If this doesn't solve the problem then the rep should contact the tech dept., who has to go into the network and fix it on their end.
HI, i got a new motorolla rokr z6m from metro-pcs (bad customer service) and as i drove away i found out the internet
did not work drove all the way back the dumb emploee admited
about the flaw and said that it was a software issue long story
short i protested and finally got my refund.
2 months later i foond out there was recall and issue fixed
well i got another new rokr z6m correct BIG MISTAKE folks
any how after use of a few days i discovered multiple issues
with freeze up , lock up, failures during calls, all the problems
mentioned in the previous articles in short it purely sucks

These days they arent making the moguls anymore, and many of them have been reported as having problems. With that said, i was able to bring my phone in to a service store and they were able to order a new one for me free, but since they arent making moguls, they'll actually give you a TOUCH PRO!! much better phone in my opinion. They asked me if i had insurance, i do, but i hope that doesnt affect any of you. moguls ****...=(
It sounds as though the phone is locked. When I had this happen to my Samsung A707, I had to send it back to Samsung to get it reprogrammed. (There are people who have bought the necessary hardware to interface with a mobile phone's OS, but I preferred Samsung themselves.) This was a free service (except for shipping) from Samsung. If you contact Motorola, they might be able to simply reprogram the phone for you.
I tried the new battery and thought it worked and posted it to this site...and, after about 30 hours the same thing happened. It's either the phone or the software, but, since the problem began 15 months after I bought the phone, I tend to think it's the phone, not the battery or the software. I'm going to try to contact HTC since T-Mobile is useless.
Well, no. Your sim card must have taken a big jolt to it in order for it not to work. Simple, you need a new one. Got a Sams club near you? They should be able to give you one for free, att corporate stores charge 25.00. But sorry to say you need a new sim.
