Question about Ricoh Aficio 1027 All-In-One Laser Printer

Error code WHat is the best way to check the motor. The code said it is locked but how to unlock. The manual is gone and we have removed some of the panels looking for access but no joy. Really appriciate your help as unit is nearly new but too far from dealer..

The code is SC500 which is main motor lock I was told. We are unable to located the motor in question and so far have not been able to resolve. We ahve removed all the panel looking for access. The unit show to have made 46 copies but where it is createsa problem getting to shop. Service man unavailable.

Any help appreciated.

I have a du code that will not go off and the door is locked.

F/11 Serial Communication Error
Communication between the Central Control Unit (CCU) and the Motor Control Unit (MCU) cannot be sent correctly.
  • Check Wire Harness connectors to the MCU, the motor, and Central Control Unit (CCU)
  • Check the Drive system for any worn or failed components
  • Check MCU
  • Check CCU
  • Check Motor
  • Check Wire Harness
F/dL Door Lock Error
A Door Lock Error occurs if the door cannot be unlocked. It will try to lock it 6 times before displaying the error.
  • Door Lock Mechanism broken or removed from the Door
  • Check Door Lock/Switch Assembly
  • Check the wire harness connections to the Door Lock/Switch Assembly and Central Control Unit (CCU)
