Unusual for the card to be faulty as this company have very good cards. Depends on what sounds you are playing....does it play up with a variety of sound. eg = gaming, music, playing a video etc

I own my harman kardon 620 amplifier for about 8 years. Now the sound from the speakers comes on and off intermittently. I have connected and disconnected all the cables to the speakers but it still has...

The problem is in the audio circuitry, there are bad solder joints on the board that need to be addressed, from your description it is a intermittent issue with the sound. Since this a high end unit I recommend a top audio technician to work on your amplifier, and I suggest not using the system until it is repaired because the risk to the audio output parts getting damaged is high and they are pricey.

Speakers not working of desk top. I have tried same speaker to may laptop it is working please suggest

Am wondering if the sound card of your desktop has been working before? If it has, then fear not. Just properly restart your system. It should work. If your just using a speakers on it and its not responding? then you would have to check your audio settings first before thinking of getting a new sound card.

Having speakers to work on vizo desk top . all in on desktop!

You need to remove the unknows first. Try the speakers on another device. You could try a walkman, another computer or anything with an 1/8th" Stereo jack. Prove that the speakers work or get a pair of headphones to check out your PC. If you are using the green jack on the back try the headphone jack on the front. If the front works and the back doesn't check the sound card options / set up. Some have an icon by the time in the bottom right corner others will need to be found under the sound effects manager or the sounds and audio devices icon. I suspect if you get this far something has been turned off in the software.

Sound is nt coming from speakers?

Do you have two sound cards in your computer now or have you removed or disabled the old sond card?

FYI, looks like in the media player you havent selected the right sound output.

Try this,
1. In Windows Media Payer, Menu bar-> Tools -> Plug-ins -> Options.

2. Go to Device tab and click on Speakers ad the click Proprties button below.

3. Click Advanced

4. Select your new hadrware.(Creative Aspire 5.1)

5. Click Set as default.

6. Click OK, OK OK...

Then restart Windos media player and try again.

-------------
Another thought, make sure you have pluged the jacks right and you speakers are working right.

Good Luck!!!

1.- Your audio was working fine before?
2.- Did you install any program?
3.- It Is your sound card connected? Go>>My PC>>Properties>>Hardware>>Device Manager (see if the sound card and drivers are installed and working properly)
4.- Your speakers are connected in the right way? Are they ON?
5.- In the control panel >>Sounds>> "mute" must be UNCHECKED

If your audio was working fine before some of above reason are blocking your sound

ADA885 Clicking

A few possibilities exist. I would first check all the connections, and wiggle all the connectors and plugs to see if any one of them is causing it including the power cable. Also try to play with the ON/OFF/Volume switch to see if that's intermittent. Second, for quick isolation of the problem I would connect them to another PC - did the clicking and flickering go away? If it did, then your PC's audio circuitry is causing it - possibilities: defective audio card, or Motherboard (MB) if it has integrated audio, bad connections on MB or audio card, if you're also using analog audio connections going from the back of your CD/DVD RW to the audio card/MB then remove those wires and see if that problem goes away - those wires are notorious for picking up all kinds of noise and feeding that noise to your audio controller. One other thing to try is to completely uninstall and reinstall the audio drivers or even try a different revision.

Dell Desk top siund issue

Yes, it could be mother board or bad speaker wire. Or get another sound card and have someone install it for you and load the driver. again, If you have the driver for that old sound card, remove and install it again. If the sound card is on the mother board, go to the manufacture and download the driver.

Good luck
