Hi, how easy is it to replace the switch on a Technosonic tv? The switch on mine is making a crackling sound when I flick it and telly is not coming on every time. There are replacement switches on Ebay but is it just a case of pulling the old one out and pushing the new one in?

Check the firmware on the tv. I would imagine youre connected with hdmi, and some tv's (lg, vizio mainly) have had firmware issues. check teh lg website for updates.

hi, if you have a device plugged into the telly that gives you the picture such as sky or cable then the best thing to do is disconnect this device from the back of your telly then switch the telly and this device off at the mains, then re-fit all the cables making sure they are connected properly then switch it all on.

now check if you have sound also make sure the tells is on the correct input for that decice and also make sure the mute button has not been pressed on the telly remote or on the remote of the device you use to watch telly, if after doing all that it still dont work then the chances are something has blown on the amp in the telly.

make sure you double check all the leads going into the telly to rule out a faulty lead causing you the problems

hi, the main cause of this problem is that one of the leads in either the back of the telly or in the back of the player your best bet would be to remove all the leads then plug them all back in and try again and you should find this will solve your problem.

Also make sure your telly is on the correct source or av station as this can also cause the problem your having so just have a flick throught your source or input or av channels do this after you have re-fitted the cable correctly and you should find this solves your problem.

starting with screen, there is a problem with HV transformer and just an expert can fix it. The sound's problem is from your jack's cable. Replace the Jacks and there no must be the problems! Rateme if i've help you. Thanks!

Yea, it can. Mine is broken too. I flick it while I'm driving when I'm not using cruise and one day I flicked it and the back came off. Lol. But yea, it can be replaced. Most Toyotas and Scions come with that same cruise switch so it's very easy to find. I found one on e-bay for eleven dollars.

Mine was doing that and I ordered a replacement power supply board for it and now it work. It's fairly easy to replace.

Chirping or hissing from the TV is caused by a faulty CRT base socket in 95% of the cases. Replacing the base socket is an easy job, but care must be taken to get the same replacement base socket. You better desolder the existing base and take it to the shop to get one with the similar connections. Good luck.

Sounds like you have a bad flyback Transformer...Crackling is high voltage leaking. I would quit turning it on and replace the main board in the set if you are good at soldering you can replace the flyback transformer but cost wise it is easier to replace main board. 20" might not even be worth the repair.
