Install windows xp drive cd

Probably, if you cannot instal your OS and your disc is not damaged, you have hard drive errors stopping installation of the OS. I would replace the hard drive. It may have memory issues so I would also google the error code for more information.

My ibm thinkpad t23 will not go pass blue windowxp screen need help

There are many possible reasons for a blue screen at windows xp.the most likely ones are:damaged windows instalation - in which case you will need to reinstall windows.damaged physical drive - in which case you would need to get a new hard drivethe OS cannot access memory - could be RAM memory or HDD.
I'm guessing you would just need to re-install the windows. You are most likely to lose all data.

IBM Blue Screen

I had the same problem with an Intellistation 6868 for years. It just wouldn't load XP but ran fine on Windows 2000 SP4. I tried 3 different XP Installation CD's with no luck. After several attempts at installing XP I bought a clean XP Upgrade from ebay.

It took me 3 goes to install it but eventually I got it in there. If you can get XP to start on the 6868 press F8 and start it in safe mode first then when it's booted fully, shut it down and and then start it clean again. It worked for me. I've been running it for 5 months now and it's fine.

I couldn't get it to work at all on the 6868's onboard IDE so I installed a PCI Raid Card and it boots fine on that.

System:
IBM 6868 52A M-Pro Intellistation
2 x Intel P3 866 CPU's 256 mb cache
2 GB ECC RD Ram
2 x Seagate 320 GB 8MB Cache HDD on a Sunix ATA133 PCI Raid Card
2 x Seagate 10000 rpm SCSI HDD on Adaptec Raid Card
ATI 9520 AGP 128mb Graphics

IBM thinkpad T22 problem

This solution is for s-k-i-t: you will have to get a copy of the win xp install disk to fix this problem (you can borrow one as long as you have a COA on your laptop) but first get into the BIOS by pressing F1 right after you turn it on - you'll see the prompt in lower left corner. Then go to startup>boot>hard drive>Enter. This will show you the type of hard drive. If it is a IBM or Hitachi less than 60 gig chances are it is failing and this is why the hives (where XP stores its memory states) are corrupt. You can download the "Ultimate boot disk" and make a CD that will let you run hard drive test tools. If the hard drive is bad I would try to get the eBay seller to make good - depends on how long you've had it.
