You can download the drivers for free from the hp support website. If your computer has windows vista, you can download from this link:
Vista driver
If it is Windows XP, then download from this link:
XP Driver
Select the file that says HP Officejet Pro Basic Driver, it is much smaller than the full Software and will work just fine.

I am trying to download the software for my 7300 series printer to my new computor which has vista windows. I receive the following error message. "Log off and on with adminastrator previleges. If...


You´ll need to right click on the install exe file for your printer and choose run as administrator from the menu.....should install without any problems

I cannot install windows vista. I am doing a clean install and thinking maybe I need a driver. I searched everywhere. Can you help me?


Have you ran the upgrade advisor on microsofts site to make sure the computer is capable of running vista?

Printer


You don,t install an I.P Address. thats the location point of your PC Address. It sounds as if you need a Driver for your printer, thats Vista Compatable. Go to HPs website. type in your printer make and model number, and search for a Driver ( this is a piece of software that allows the printer to communicate with your computer ) download the driver. and re-setup the printer.
Ensure that the driver is for Windows vista. If you can,t get 1.
Then you,ll have to change your Printer. Or Operating System.
Windows XP Recommended.
