Remove the blower tube by turning anticlockwise. remove cover from air inlet same way. attach large diameter suction tube to air inlet (has to fit correctly as this is where the safety switch is) attach collection bag to air exhaust opening (where you removed the blower tube from)

To vacuum. (1). take off black cover with string on 'anti-clockwise' & lever up, screwdriver is good. (2). Put big tube in the same place, turn 'clockwise', make sure it's in good or it won't start.

(3). Put small tube with bag attached and twist 'clockwise' put shoulder ******** and 'GO'.

Small twigs can be picked up as well as leaves, the machine breaks them up.

To blow. (1) Take Big tube (vac) off and replace cover with string on.

(2). Take off tube and shoulder bag. (3). Place small tube (with crevice like tool on one end)

in the same place shoulder bag fitting goes.

Start machine you're ready to blow.

The vacuum is designed to be an upright vacuum or a hand held canister vacuum, or a blower.
It comes with many attachments.

Please use the blower attachment.

Where do I attach the bag for the vacuum?

When the machine is converted to vacuum mode, the collection bag will go on the machine where the blower tube (long part) is connected for blowing mode.

How do we activate the blowing system on the blower/vacuum? It is set for vacuum and we don't know how to switch to blower?

I presume this is a gas blower. When you start the unit it will be sucking from one end/area of the blower. See where the air is discharging from the other end. That is where you will attach your blower nozzle.

If you can get the model number off the machine, there is a good chance you can go to sears online site and find a manual to help you out.

Good Luck.

Turning the vacuum on.. paramount pb350

That blower vacuum is very easy to operate if you have all the pieces. You need the tubes to blow, you need the larger tub to vacuum and if you want also a bag to attach to the bigger tube. The bigger tube has to be attached at the opposite part of the machine and once you turn it on it will vacuum.

Vacuum works, but blower doesn't

Make sure that the vacum houseing on blower is closed all the way and/or snaps shuts to engage for blowing once you have removed all vacum attachments.

Craftsman leaf blower/vacuum

There is a round grille on the bottom of the unit. Insert a flat blade screwdriver into the latch to release it and reveal the vacuum opening. You should have a two-piece intake pipe that will attach to the opening.

The collection bag attaches to the smaller outlet where the blower pipe used to be (unscrew the wing nut to release the blower pipe). The bag clips onto the hooks at the base of the opening.

Put the switch in the center off position. That allows you to press the big black button in the front and take the vacuum attachment off. Replace the vacuum with the blower attachment and you should them be able to blow rather than vacuum.

Vacuum or Blower?

* Blowers perform the single, simple function of blowing material. * Blower/vacuum combinations combine the blower function with a vacuum feature. Leaves or debris can be directed into an attached bag, which makes this type of unit great for vacuuming leaves from shrubs. An additional mulching feature is available on some leaf blower/vacuums. Mulched lawn debris can be used in compost piles or bagged for disposal. Most convert easily from blowing to vacuuming mode.
